Well I'm trying to make a good Necromancer build that would flip the idea that Minion Necromancers suck. Okay well they do but I have taken the task of making a good minion Necromancer. Let's go!

Death Train Necromancer

Necromancer/Mesmer

Skill Points:
Curses : 12
Death Magic : 12

Animate Bone Minions
Blood of the Master
Dark Aura
Verata's Sacrifice
Mark of Pain
Deathly Swarm
Soul Feast
Wither {E}

Okay well how this works is you summon as many Bone Minions as possible, and because I know so well that bodies can be scarce you heal them all with Blood of the Master or Verata's Sacrifice. Before you use it however you cast Dark Aura to heal yourself. Also when your minions are obliterating some warrior or so help them out with either Mark of Pain (if lots of enemies are present, like in those gay mobs), Deathly Swarm also for gay mobs as it is one of the best AoE spells and use Wither on Monks/Mesmers/Elementalist/anyone your minions are attacking. If you have a bunch of bodies, resist Soul Feast. Get Bone Minions and only use Soul Feast when you are like one of the last or you are getting beat up badly as it gives quick and effective healing.

Critique?

add in a death nova in there, cause u know the minions are going to dye no matter what, also you hve the ability to add soem more attributes, possibly 3 in soul reaping?

o well the build looks ok, possibly pretty good in pve, although in pvp minions dont fare well, death nova is a must then.

That's why I have to try to max out the bodies.

What bodies though? PvP is all about keeping people alive. The other team isn't gonna give you any bodies to work with if they can help it, and by the time they do, you may be be dead!

Hehe.

PvP minions is possible, but risky. It's more for entertainment reasons in my opinion as they really don't add to the team's power. My E/N had a 10-12 army of minions in PvP once, but traveling from team to team makes you lose them pretty quickly.

Minion necromancers don't suck in PvE, but there is no real way to make them useful in PvP as of now in my honest opinion. Even Death Nova isn't always worth it.

Critique? This all sounds good on paper but...what will you do about those straight mobs huh? They're going to rip you apart with that crap build.
