Is there any quest from which you can get this one?

This triggers fragility right? (assuming the target has a condition) I was just running a 4v4 build that was relying on this to do a lot of damage from the target losing their conditions, but it was only doing the normal ~80. I want to just make sure it was because the other teams were removing hexes or conditions and not just because this skill doesn't do what I want it to do.

EDIT: I found out what my problem was, I can't read. I was assuming that this spell was cast on a target foe, but what it really does is center on yourself and hit nearby foes.

does this spell cure knockdown?
e.g. i use gale and immediately after my war/ele friend uses crystal wave, does the target get back up?
just wondering as im trying to formulate a build involving just that.
also does it cure exhaustion? technically thats a negative condition, although self-inflicted so i dont think crystal wave would cure it.

Raw 100 damage is just great... Crystal Wave with Obsidian Flame = 218 Damage Spike, Eq+ Aftershock will resuilt in a +270 damage when knocked down. For a total of 588 damage. With 5 earth elementalists, this could be very deadly.

This has been updated in the game, it can be blocked by magical resistance such as protective spirit. I was very angry because when i first got this i thought i could kill anybody until a Tengu casted Protective spirit on himself, i ran up to him and only dealt 35 damage which made me pissed.

This spell ignores armor and magic resistance. As Protective Spirit is neither of these, it stands to reason that it reduces the damage.

Not commenting on how it works, but to me, Protective Spirit sure sounds like it would be a "magical resistance".
