Elona Reach nerfed again?

I do a few farming runs per week in the area outside Elona, and I noticed today that there seemed to be a lot of devourers coming out from under the ground. They come in pairs and frequently use distracting shot to disable my skills. I didn't notice them last week. Did anyone else notice this (more hidden devourers popping up)? \

I've always noticed devourers in that area.

Do you mean inside the mission or outside the mission area (Sand Drakes)? All you have to do to the devourers is keep running until they are off of you (and you collect more mobs) Then stop and fight.

Yesterday I saw hydras in the Arid Sea, so it might just be randomized spawns.

There are always hydras in the Arid Sea. Usually a boss and two of his buddies.

Well I've spent a long time in the Arid Sea before and only found enchanted armors, sand giants, jade/rock scarabs, dune burrowers, sand wurms, spiny aloes, and the occasional hydra boss group. Have never seen multiple hydras roaming like it was Skyward Reach.
