How do defensive hexes and buffs stack?

If Aegis (50% block) and Guardian (40% block) are stacked, would that come out to a 10% chance of being hit or 30%? Would Aegis and Ward Against Melee (50% evade) stack any differently since you would be both blocking and evading now? How about Blurred Vision (50% miss)?

Also does blocking and evading count as misses for hexes like Spirit of Failure?

Test it? ... well i don't think something with 50% evade and something with 50% block is going to stack... you're just going to either evade it or block it 50% of the time, but i do think if you blind someone or hex them to miss and have something to block/evade that can stack, but that's why there are attacks that are unable to be blocked/evaded im thinkin... someone can correct me if im wrong.

30%. Each effect is counted in turn, instead of them adding up their effects.

Since this thread is already here asking about stacking, I have a question.

Holy Wraith/Reptibution, both this return damage to the attacker, are these percentages counted independently of one another, or are they added together?

Sorry to hijack your thread Aedra.

Independently, but the result ends up being the same - they take damage from both.
