How much money can you hold?

I've seen a guy in the forum posting a pick of his storage with 1000 Plat. So my question is, is 1000 Plat the max money u can have (not including your character), or can u go over that? Thanks in advance for the replies and help! ^_^

Id think 1000 plat would be all youd need, but id imagine you could hold more

Well, I've seen the pros offer 1mil+ for an item .. I wonder if they pay most or some of it in ectos or can they dish out 1mil+ haha ^_^ .. someone who knows the answer from experience or from friend tell me! ^_^

1000k is max for storage. 100k is max for just holding it. (but you can have 4 characters holding 100k.

so basically, 1.4 million is the absolute maximum gold you can have (not counting ecto etc)

1,000k is not the max for storage.

1000 is the max plat for storage, you can also put in dyes, runes etc in exchange for cash.

Sidetracking this . . . I'm in port sledge and someone asks if anyone could sell her 4 intricate grawl necklaces. I whisper that I have 4 I can sell her. She asks how much. I say, dunno, what sounds like a reasonable price. She says 100 gold for 4. I pause thinking to myself, that's no better than what I can get merchanting the resulting item, but I feel like a humanitarian and agree to the price. Trade occurs. Next thing I know I'm getting a mistell from her saying, "WTB 80 ectos for 500 plat" or something outrageous like that. LOL! I sent her a tell back saying, "wow, and you only paid 100 gold for those necklaces?" hehe. Rich people. Man I love 'em.
