This is true for me... all other big games I've wanted to get have always been delayed... good job AreaNet! GO GUILD WARS! Also this is the first time I'll ever be playin a MMORPG, Guild Wars just looked too good to give up, and with the free online play... seemed too good to be true. 5 More days for me right? Yeah, I was a noob at this recent BWE also....omg I loved it so much, I went out and bought it Monday morning.

Then, I came home yesterday and when I saw the GOLD announcement, I flipped out, started my client, and was astonished to see that I could log on...it asked for my cdkey (because I was using a "LET A FRIEND IN" pass last BWE) and I started dancing and entered it, and then the game said, "ok you are registered come back at next event lol" and I started crying...a lot.

I am going to stare at my Guild Wars icon for the next four days. Screw the girlfriend.

I wonder if you can have pink hair still. When I first played it at E3, I tried to have my char have red hair, but it turned out pink. Eventually it became a defining symbol and I grew to like it. Then at the WPE in October, I signed on and the hair was a disappointing brown.

Great news.... but I dont think it's really "gold" = they will work until it goes live to tweak and balance and improve and .... (implement the whole suggestion thread *hehe*) thanks to streaming technology. "We" beta testers, will test this changes for 1 day (I bet it's gonna be a busy day for ArenaNet) until the rest of the world joins us (and we have to start from zero...... not really, because we know what to do...)

Can't wait for GW be more than a weekend pleasure!

Nope. I think you need a giant seal of approval and a fancier rainbow-colored name for it to be official. You may also need a chorus to sing a ethereal sounding chord just to make it even better.
