samurai class

I think there should be a samurai calss. they could bring katanas into the game only usable by the samurai. mabye they could make the katana faster than sword with less dmg but more precision. also they can have a skill class called Chi which is like a kind of enchantment that they can use on their sword like say a move called fire chi that makes the sword have fire dmg for as long as its enchante or something along those lines.

Interesting Idea, but generally an war using a fire sword and frenzy/flurry

I didnt only mean fire dmg, it was just an example. mabye something that knocks an enemy down or one that drains health almost like the sword upgrades but not permanent

Not to bash you... but how come there is always someone wanting samuria and ninjas in any games. besides samuria doesn't use chi : p
but back to the idea... it really doesn't add much new to the game. you are bascially referring to a warrior/elementalist.

everyone loves ninjas, but sadly i dont feel they have a place in GW.. basicly because ive watched enough naruto to learn they would slaughter everyone else before they can cast a spell

u get some nice stances from both classes, and expertise affects most if not all of the skill costs

There are no class excusive weapons.

A monk mesmer could use a bow if they wanted.

True, but since bows require Marksmanship to do any real damage, using one on that class combo like that would be pointless as the weapon would do no worthwhile damage whats so ever.

Sometimes I almost wonder why I can't punch something if I take off my weapons. I can't imagine a practical value for being able to punch, but maybe the rest of you have some ideas for that.
