Post here if you want a Auction House

After many threads saying they are all sick of "WTS" "WTB" and "WTF", i wanted to make a thread showing how many players want a auction house. I belive that it would in one fell swoop fix the trading problem, it would give all of us the option of see trades so we can actully talk agian in the local channel, keep the trade tab up just for quick sales. Post here if you want a auction house and let Anet Here us!!!

i have wanted this since day one. I liked SWG ebay style trade. GW should have that as well. I don't see it happening though.

Oh hell yes.

It'll solve a few problems

1) Inflation
2) Scamming
3) Rude Players
4) Spamming
5) Time wasting

The only way I would want to see something done is for ANet to sanction an Ebay style auction site. The coding to put a gigantic number of individuals, all their items, gold, etc. IG is doubtless a nightmare and can't be done. Still, putting up a site that THEY would run would be great (or pay someone to run for them LOL!).

It could also tie to IG penalties to those who either don't pay or don't cough up the goods at the end of a specified auction end.

yea, thats a great idea. I dont see any reason not to, and it would solve a lot of our problems. A lot of people I know are sick of getting scammed. Hopefully this thread will go somewhere. EEEEEE8D <-------Marge Simpson, lol

This would renew much love for this game. If WoW can do it so can GW, no reason in the world that it can't be done.

We already brought this up in beta, For some reason arenanet figured the solution was chat filtering, What a laugh.

All the NPC traders (runes, rare materials) are somewhat of a joke right now; nobody is using them. I'd say replace them with an auction house.

It would solve so many problems. "There"(thats the name of the game) is a game with a good in game auchion house. When auction an item the item is held and when you bid it hold your money so there are no problems with bad sellers or buyers because its all automated.

Implement an auction system and let the masses rejoice. No more high prices because things will be viewable to all and we will have fierce price wars.

I hate typing WTS/WTB/Selling/Buying in the trade channel 100 times. If i say it once, it will get erased bc of so many people spamming, so i have to say it again, man does it get boring. I would LOVE an auction house, it would make trading 100x easier and it would make it actually fun to trade.

Yes I agree. Add an auction house ASAP.

Good idea, Though with everyone who owns guildwars all Dumping into one Auction would be ALOT of data that needs to be sorted.

Perhaps with an Auction limit of 5 Active Auctions per user it would fix that right up though.
