alos, the upgrades were added to the weapon. It wasnt found off an enemyt this way. Does that depreciate it at all?

I don't think it depreciates the price...but then it's an ascalon bow...

Yeah, Ascalon Bow means it wasn't found off an enemy at all, it is a collector item, so it can't even be salvaged for the upgrades in it.

that bow is perfect, just not aesthetically...id keep it that is to say if you have a use for it. Other than that just having it to look at isnt much. And about getting raped on the trade...im no so sure considering each of those mods are worth like 50k+ each. If i had a ranger id offer a nice price for that considering i dont care about the color of an item.

The problem is that you can't salvage anything on the bow. This is the primary reason why it worths much less.

Also, many players don't like Ascalon bows. I think it is because you can't really be sure of the type of bow when you buy it. You must "discover" his type by using it... And a 5:1 vampiric is pretty useless on a longbow.

ummm ... I am under the assumption that you can salvage upgrade *YOU* or someone else adds on the bow. The Vamp Bow string is not a part of the ascalon bow and you should be able to salvage it. Then seel the Vamp String ... you will at least get some real offers then.

actually i saw a gold ascalon bow before
17% while health below 50% so it could've come off a mosnter but it probably didnt it's still a good bow has perfect upgrades

whats the difference between bows ?? of course the skin but anything other ??
are there difference too for axe sword hammer ??

The collector stuff can't be salvaged, so the upgrades are sorta stuck in there which decreases the value somewhat. I'm not arguing that this is a bad bow, it isn't. Just due to it being a collector item, it is not worth nearly as much.

I think that ascalon bow came from the HoH chest... but not sure.
