How well should my 9800pro

....work with this game? I played only once and didn't take the time to make any adjustments.

My current setup is
p4 2.0
512X2 ddr
9800pro 256, with XT bios flash +oc'd a bit.

Lol, a 9800 pro is still a damn good card. HL2 is more demanding than this game. If anything your CPU is bottlenecking the card (no big deal here thoguh).

Lifire is correct. It's more likely that the CPU will be the bottleneck than the video card. In fact, the video card should run the game easily on high settings.

I Will hop on newegg and see what I can do about upgrading this aging cpu. Thanks for the input all.

I have just about the same specs and run at full setting with 2x AA.

Pfft, Halflife 2....demanding?!? Hell, it runs Doom3 golden! (Gets a wee bit hot though...

) I've never had to turn a setting down in GW with my 9800Pro.
