Ridiculous?

I was just minding my own business in the Amnoon Oasis when I casually walked to Goran the dye trader. I look at the price for blue dye and the first thing that caught my eye:

Vial of Dye [Black] Last sale:12(plat) 945 gold

Why does this game really have to have such a subtle economy?

I believe it is based on the demand of the item. If more people decide they would rather buy Black dye from dye trader. prices would rise, If they sold to trader, they would drop.

I understand economics. But christ, people really are demanding. I don't even notice a lot of black items/clothing in the first place.

It isn't that. It is that they nerfed the trader buying prices so people don't sell to the trader anymore because they know they can get 150% as much selling it to a player =/

Thats the problem with the game, everyone thinks their stuff is great, and wants double the cost, while they think your stuff is crap, and want to only give you half the cost. I don't really like the black dye, so I don't need to worry about overcharging ripoff players/traders.

Aha..I was just checking my notebook i started last night, 6917 is the highest i saw it, from 2 AM to 10 AM.. (Yes i slept..) I shooda bought earliar Lol
