Yes after 40 in less than 2 miniutes he stopped responding. My whole guild and my old guild all blacklisted him after commenting on his breach of ettiqute by saying "You shouldn't grief in ToA. Those forums are a bitch ain't they?" I think he ran out of ingore spots though so keep it up
Intentional Griefing and the Fissure of Woe
3 pages • Page 2
Ok the OP is obviously venting and that's cool, saves his dog from a slap upside the head for something trivial and all... but here's the deal - no one cares. =) Certainly not ANet. They care that you are a dissatisified customer but as for doing something about it, just because someone in-game doesn't get thier way and causes the group to wipe? I highly doubt it.
How is this any different than a "noob" who takes all the quests from the first reaper in UW and then says oops? Was he a noob? Was it intentional griefing? Who can say. Is the only heal monk in the group griefing you when he says "hey I g2g" and logs 3 minutes after entering FoW?
Look, we know you're pissed. But please, remove the links to the images or fuzz out the names. Don't become the bad guy. We've all had this and worse happen. I personally have 250+ hours of PuGs (and 500+ with friends/guildies) and you can always count on one thing:

The best advice for people like him is to just simply hit "N" and scroll down to the part where it says "Ignore list" and then in the little box type their name. Ignore list is my favorite tool
only if you could put more people than what it allows on there.g

OTOH if they leave him in the game, and let his sins go unpunished, there will be more unhappy players, MORE POTENTIAL in losing future sales, and no, for these people things will just eventually come to a head and they just quietly ditch the game..
Now, which situation would you, from ANet's perspective, want.
Besides I'm sure they have pretty comprehensive chat logs, so they'd be able to attest that the above event does indeed occurred. I seriously doubt ANet will be so blunt as to not log all communications btw.
Let's get his arse toasted
Why? ANet doesn't ban people for their chat posts at all. I have since ANet screenies of far worse being done in local and they do nothing at all. When ANet won't do anything it falls to the community to police its own. He only got 1 post from each of us. I think that a less than fitting punishment for what he did but thats just my opinion. The harrasing part is people who constantly whisper give me gold or the like. I mean if what I did was harrasmant than I consider posting WTS or WTB or any variation there of to be harrasmant. All those people should be banned also.
BTW
I have seen people do everthing the EULA says you can't do (defraud, harass, threaten, or cause distress and/or unwanted attention to other players) and still not be punished.

@ EmperorTippy:
You answered:
Then Quintus posted the official rules:
While playing Guild Wars, you must respect the rights of others and their rights to play and enjoy the game. To this end, you may not defraud, harass, threaten, or cause distress and/or unwanted attention to other players.
You answered:
So you knew at that point that harassing is not allowed!
And said:
You said he gets banned, because he did something that is not allowed! And then you did something that isn´t allowed too! And therefore if he is banned, you should be banned too!
That´s why!

*Realy doesn't care if he is banned or not ATM as a friend just went back to WoW and gave me his account*
If 1 message serriously coun'ts as harrasmant than the people who whisper you in tombs when they lose are also harrassing and should be banned, so should the people who keep bugging you after you reject their offer for an item and a lot of other people. The point is that 1 post from me could get me on his ingore list and I couldn't bother him again. If you notice the EULA says nothing about inciting harrasmant which it could be argued I did. One post like mine doesn't count as harrasmant. If I had spammed him with it it would have been but I didn't so it wasn't. You can not ban me for the actions of others even if I convinced them to take said action.

I hate it when people do that.
Something similar happened to me in UW someone talked to the ghost and then left us. He/she whanted to leave and left us with a full room of enemies. If you didn't whant to come to UW or Fissure in the first place why join the group and screw us and leave?
Also don't you love people that go afk halfway thru the mission and end up getting a free mission?
Wish ther was a kick button based on party's vote or something sometimes ...
