What do you think are the most difficult areas in PvE to do using just yourself and henchmen...?
I'd have to say going to dreadnoughts drift from camp rankor with only henchmen. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't get gang-raped by 8 summit herders all using giant stomp, and you can't kill them off unless you yourself have something like meteor shower (which is difficult for my N/Me...) and they won't go around the damn things to kill the dolyak masters, they just sit there and get raped.
At least that's doable though...
Other than that I'd say Abaddon's Mouth.
Hardest PvE area in the game with henchmen?

The area that always gave me the most trouble with henchmen would probably be the Frozen Forest. Thirsty River always bothered me with henchmen also because for me they never follow my commands on that mission for some reason.
The only time I've went through Dreadnoughts Drift with henchmen was with an elementalist so I don't know how hard that would be with other classes. I find Abaddon's Mouth rather easy with henchmen, more so if Willa spawns past the Onyx gate so that I can run past him.

IMO the hardest with henchies is UW or fissure. So much that it's basically impossible. |
hardest area, currently i would say the path to Temple of Ages or that quest for villainy of Galrath would involved going from Hot Spring to TofA to the wizard tower where Galrath is located! Doing this quest with henchies isn't going to work and that you need a group of people (perfer level 15 or higher) to get there.

I would have to say Ice Floe, simply because henchmen don't move out of Maelstroms, and having 20 ice imps in a group means that the healers are going to be dead in a few seconds, followed quickly by the rest of the group. If you try taking out the mursaat, they also come in groups of 10-20, which will easily overwhelm a henchman group.
Mursaat towers take second place- they can be killed by henchmen, but they're really a pain, and you'll likely lose half your group or more before finishing them off.
Mineral springs can be difficult, but I've taken groups of henchmen in there and cleared most all of the area with only 1-2 deaths max- it just takes patience, observation of patrol routes, and good target calling to take out the archers first, as well as fairly good survival skills of your own, since if you die, the henchmen will get wiped.
Frozen forest has a couple places that can be suicide with henchmen as well- if you get 2-3 dolyaks, with the huge swarms that come with them, it's quick death- this is most often a problem I've ran into in the valley you walk past for Hero's Challenge(or whatever it is), and another area in the southern portion(a bit north of where the mursaat are in Frozen Forest).

The Villiainy of Galrath can be done with henchmen.
All you need is time, time, time and, more time.
I'm talking about 6 hrs here.
Of course having real people on the team speeds up the process, but VoG is not impossible with henchmen only.
I think, the hardest missions so far, that I've not managed to do with henchmen only are those that have a clock ticking.
Both missions are required to ascend.
One has this 30 minute clock to get to gemstones to the ghostly warrior.
The other one is the one where you have to eliminate 6 groups and they get resurrected every 2 minutes until you kill their priest.
I was very close to completing the one with the 30 minute clock though.
I already was carrying the 2nd stone and was on my way to the ghostly warriror with 4 minutes to go.
Guess I got lightheaded and messed it up.
