Anti looks/weapons due to bragging?

Everytime i hear a great idea about

1. Looks or appearance
2. new weapons/armor
3. anything about increasing anything about yourself

I constantly hear.

That cant be done people will brag too much.
Nope cant have uber 1337 people bragging
Sigh that cant be done do you know how many people will go PWNT YOU NUB?

That is totally insane.

2. If the weapons have same stats but look uber it doesn;t make you better.........
3. Why cant our looks be more cool looking if we buy new facial stuff or earn it? How is that bragging by looking different?

It looks as if some people just want one character one weapon and one skill so everyone looks and plays 100% and no one can be different. what fun is that?

Weapons with same stats but different looks would be good imo. Keeps the playing field balanced but no uber mods.

Stacking runes isn't really unbalanced since everyone could do it but im talking about pure looks in this thread.

Maybe they could add multiple ascensions and you can keep ascending but your clone gets harder each time. And it would show how many times you ascended by your name

There was a thread about adding something special to ascension so people would know you were ascended, but people finally agreed that it was a bad idea, as it wouldn't show that they were good or anything, just that they could kill the easiest boss in the game.

It's actually pretty hard if you dont know how to lay out the skills.

Maybe they can change it so he can use ANY 8 skills randomly!!

Now that would be one hell of a challenge
