Both worked very well, though I found that Gladiator's Defense just wrecks multiple warriors attacking you, and you can just heal during it

.
The second build though was a pure burst damage monster. Spamming Swift Chop and normal attack with Tiger's Fury on really build up adrenaline fast for the massive damage axe attacks.
I've experimented with using "For Great Justice!" instead of Whirling Defense, which get my my adrenaline even faster, but when I get jumped on by multiple warriors, I miss the 16 second immunity+heal of WD, so switched it back out.
