Duke's Daughter bugged?

I think I was the very lucky victim of a glitch in the Duke's Daughter quest. I know the daughter is :supposed: to be over by the area with 489750 charrs. I did it with my Necromancer, Warrior, and Monk. Elementalist's turn. I go out of Nolani, going right at the fork. I look on the map, and theres a green dot by that bridge going overhead. There shouldn't be a green dot there but...oh my god, Althea was right there. Almost right outside the entrance of Nolani. Easy 2k experience. Did they change this or was I just lucky? Thanks

I had her in the area with alot of charr with my first character, but with my latest character she was more towards nolani as well...

Thanks I'm fairly certain it's randomly positioned, at least somewhat. I think you just got lucky.

My first 2 characters(both way back in may) had to battle through the charr to get to her, my latest two(started both late june) have found her just outside of town, near a crystal formation .... perhaps they moved her for some reason?

I think it's random where she is.

When I did the quest a while ago, she was near the courthouse, and just kinda standing in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by nothing.

Althea's position is random. If you still have the quest, you can test it for yourself by zoning in and out and watching the green objective marker move around.

I had her change locations once after my party was wiped out trying to get to her. She was in the middle of the million charr army, then i died, and she was no where near an enemy. i thought it was a little strange that she changed positions
