useless scroll crafter

in witmans folly there is a scroll crafter.he charges 5K to make a scroll.why would you pay 5k plus materials when u can by a scroll for around 1.5k?that is just pointless.

Maybe they expected scrolls to be more popular...

I posted a thread about this awhile back. Seems like they would adjust the crafter prices.

Also, not only is the cost to craft one 5k, but it also requires materials.

Do scrolls drop? I haven't ever seen one except at the trader/crafter...

I have had a scroll drop before...landed me an easy 1.5k

It could just be me, but I had two drop almost in back to back farming runs against a warrior class boss. Those were the first and only ones I've had so far.

Ive had 5 drop all together.

They normally get me around 1-2k but today the trader would only give me 10 gold

I Wonder why the witmans folly scroll crafter is still there.
He has no meaning in life.

Once again this shows how BAD the PvE comunity is.
The scrolls are REALLY usefull with a good team CLEARING the Underworld (or whatever).
Now guess what, most PvE teams dont even make it to the first Underworld quest, and if so they suicide right there, most dont even try or want to reach the quest and all the good stuff behind it.

If you only play PvE, why would you want to farm EXP in Underworld?

Well, as far as usefullness all XP gives you is Skill Points. But I just like gaining XP
