Exclusive Events for Tyria

will there be? looks like tyria is now taken for granted and prophecies only owners are missing all the fun.

what do you think? should a.net throw out some exclusive tyrian events?

Tyria had EVERY event before factions was released... Dont complain.

1) Buy factions
2) You *do* need to stop whining
3) Buy factions again

Indeed, it's only natural that Anet make new events for Factions, it would be a bit silly of them not to.

I think it is good idea I am sure they are working on it!

Why not make it in the Battle Arenas?

Unlikely. Past events will likely reaccur, but until an expansion revisits Tyria I can't see Anet doing too much other than quests to play into new expansions. It simply doesn't make sense to provide additional content to a past product while you are trying to sell people new products.

I personally hope that future chapters return to Tyria, but that is another thread.

When it was the only game, now that's some fair comparison.

It's funny they always say stop whining & don't complain but when ch3 comes out who do u think will be the new whiners and complainers then.

And no i do not have factions and will not own it I for one dont like it.

As for OP yes it would be nice to have Tyria only events but dont count on it

Its not like there was an expansion at that time anyway, so this point is null. I do believe they prophecies will have new events including the return of the old ones.

As rpg player I think the events should effect both contents. One should effect the other.

I also think there should be trade or trading going on between both contents.

Factions however did have 2 in a row being dragon festival and the one in the past for tengu day.

I wouldn't mind if there was some tyria event.

And yes I own factions so has nothing to do with not having it :P

Tyria is still a hand, while Cantha is just a pinky. Stop whining. You have the greatest part of the game. Don't let them delude you in false sense of Cantha being better than Tyria.

Why? That's not the way things generally work in the real world. Muslim countries don't celebrate Christmas, The US doesn't go nuts about the World Cup Soccer, etc. Granted, there are things that are observed all oer the world - Olympics, New Years, etc. BUT -the Dragon Festival is comemmorating what happened to Cantha. What does Tyria have to do with it?

Not true, World Cup event starts, everyone an there uncles in the U.S becomes a fan.

Im in a portugese neighborhood (my last name is actually portugese...but we wont get into that) and its football fever over here!! everyone's got their flags and playing on the street and the park and such. :P

But they would be fans if they were still in their home countries~

a good reason to have events and the additions of new green items in Tyria is that people who ONLY own factions would pickup Prophecies at stores and help balance the population out

Tyria is lacking population in many areas so It would be a good idea to have some event in the future to make those factions only owners want to buy prophecies
