Oni... so freaking creepy and cool when they first appeared... so mysterious and so much left that needs to be uncovered as far as their history. Would be nice to just teleport into a battle that people were winning and send it all to hell.

Not really. You beat the Lich using your normal skills. Shiro you have to use (usually) special "uber" skills given to you by a dragon, most of which apear to be combinations of sevral skills and some elites.
