Guys, guys, guys,
This is for story ideas, not game improvements. Now, sure, the scribe may be able to write about game improvements, if that's possible in RP voice. But this thread isn't about "increase storage" or "give us a hair dresser." You are sooo silly!
I like the story ideas a lot, though, so thanks for those and keep 'em coming!

or a place with a level 35++ boss called challenge of the gods or something that spawns by its self in a dungeon or something and you have to take a party of 8 and it drops a new kind of weapon like a green but has red writing and that weapon is related to a random god, eg:
Blade of Balthazar
Slashing Dmg 15-22 req 9
15%
-5
+1 Hp Regen
+30hp
Balthazars Holy Aegis
Al 16 req tactics
+55hp (while suffering from a condition)
+1 energy Regen
Damned Scythes Of Grenth
Shadow Dmg 7-17
-1 Hp regen
Vampiric 3/-1
+10 armour while under 30% health
Melandru's Longbow
Piercing dmg 15-28 req 9
Attack Speed + 10%
Sundering 20/20
+30hp
-1 energy regen
Lyssa's Arcane Domination Staff
chaos dmg 11-22 req 9
20/20 domination
+5 energy (while hexed)
+5 energy
+30hp
thats just a few ideas
the weapon will be one off skins and red writing, and have the name of the god in them
the weapons should have unique one off mods too.
the boss will be insane, like it evolves and stuff and only two red's drop each time you kill it.
thats just a rough idea, arena net feel free to take the idea i'd love to fight it

actually, what would be great to have in the scribe is a story about the beauty of the tyria left behind, i was exploring with my warrior for 80% tyria and if you just go to those deserted places that are beautiful, like majesty's rest and twin serpant lakes, some of those are for most people never to be seen, whilst they are surely beautiful
Ooh! I have some ideas!
- Things like 'Scuffles' between bands of monsters could be quite fun to read about, or if a certain group of monsters has a new boss, you could invent a bit of backstory behind him
- Perhaps updates like "Improved enemy AI" or "Updated henchmen moveset" could be put into the scribe, in a kind of RP voice, such as 'the henchmen have been training'
- You have random acts of kindness, mabe if you become aware of a new scam you could post it in the scribe
- I like the idea someone mentioned of 'Insults Kurzicks and Luxons throw at each other'. Maybe expand that to little bits of in character chat that you sometimes find like "May the gods watch over you fellow Luxons". That would be quite interesting
- The Dragon Festival, obviously

I'd like to know more about GW story including scepter of orr, shiro, the gods of tyria, the great dwarf, mursaat, titans etc. Also some mysterious monuments so called wonders of tyria/cantha like monument of balthazar in maguuma jungle (who make these great things? when? how?). Any story related to upcoming chapter?
Im sure if you have a look threads in Druid's Overlook, the scribe can make good RP related news/stories.

Well, if you can't write about all of our awesome suggestions for game improvement, there's still a few possibilities.
One: You could write about me! Because I'm definately cool and famous enough to hold people's attention for at least two paragraphs. Maybe three!
Two: Pick up that lead Lyra mentioned... Just how many Kurzicks and Luxons are wearing the other side's armour? Dress it up as a little old-school subterfuge, and let's build some paranoia!
Three: Take up Nugzta's suggestion. Dredge up (hehe... Dredge. anyway...) the old threads about the Seven Wonders of Tyria/Cantha. Aside from the touristic benefits, perhaps some sort of reward could be implemented for visiting them all? A sightseer title, maybe?
Four: Drop painfully tantalizing hints about Chapter Three. Make vague references to it. Make exorbitant claims of the gigantic storage vaults found there.
Five: Drinkmaster Tahnu.
Six: Resort to the good old timeless fallback, "Makin' Stuff Up". And I mean really crazy stuff. Like, "Yesterday I attended a meeting between several wealthy Canthan traders. Renewed trade with Kryta has proved to be so profitable, several are at a loss as to what to do with their money. One particularly affluent Canthan trader told me that he had hired contracters to build him a large swimming pool full of ectoplasm." That'd stir up the masses.

You cannot write about characters (Mursatt, Gwen etc.) in the sence of what happened to them. What if they're to be implemented into the game in later chapters? Storys about them in the future, being told now, would have to be considered romours.
Now, in my opinion, stories about elite hunters or travellers would be nice. Mentioning the treasures of the Underworld and the vast lands of Kryta would also be interesting. Maybe an on going arcticle about the activities of certain enemies. "In recent news, the ongoing plague of Minitour and Scarabs continue to hassle travellers of the Amnoon..." (I'm not really in the mood for typing but obviously the arcticle would be longer than a sentance :P). Stories about the world, the environment, and creatures of Tyria, and the open planes of Cantha would be nice too (No offence to the city dwelling Canthans, but I don't like that part of the world :P).
One thing I don't tend to read in The Scribe are the Random Acts of Kindness. Personally I have no interest in how people are lead North a few meters to find a Skill Trainer, but thats just me.
Well, that's enough from me, I am out of energy (Didn't configure my Forum Build with much expertise)...

Here's a scribe thread from sardelic. I think'd it be a good idea, and a lot more people would get the chance to read it.

Since the scribe seems rather focused on the 'faction war' part of Factions (which is understandable because ANet wants to promote it so much), why not give more mention to the Jade Quarry? I personally find battles in the Quarry much more fun and open-ended than the Aspenwood ones, but it seems the place is always under-popuplated. Perhaps there is an "in-game" reason for that?
