Jerk to nice ppl ration

There are alot of different threads on all the different jerks in guild wars(gosh aren't there a lot of different types mentioned). This leads to people crying that the entire game is full of jerks. I admit i once posted a jerk thread and some gave me a response ppl should think about.
Basically they pointed out that you only notice or remember the jerks.
As an example you go to a full district and see the spam is thick. But if you think about it, alot of time its like 5 or 10 out of 100 ppl spamming. The rest are nice players going about their business. You don't notice the 95 good players because the 5 are such a pain.
The same principle applies most everywhere you remember the jerks for days; the good players don't bother you so you don't remember them, unless there really nice .

Not saying that GW doesn't have its fair share of jerks, every MMO does, but its not always as bad as it seems.

That's a tiny bit too much optimism you have. The world sucks, mostly. Face it.

The world does suck, but I think as a whole, a majority of people are easy going enough. I agree with the OP in the fact that there are probably way more nice enough people as opposed to jerks. NOw the number who could turn into a jerk should they be rubbed the wrong way is a whole different discussion all together.

If the world suck's just get a case of Beer that will solve your problem's for a Day ore two...

When building a house, you won't remember every time you hit a nail with your hammer, but you'll damn sure remember every time you hit your thumb!

Im sure i come across to many people as an elitist arrogent asshole, well only the arrogent part is correct, i actually spend most of my time helping new players learn the game, and helping people in general

7:2 ?

When UW farming I find that I run into very few jerks. That's pretty much the only time I travel in PUG's. Missions like THK or SF farming or FOW farming and I've found that people's frustration levels are pretty high. But then again, a nice bottle of wine does wonders!

Probably 150:1 Jerk/Nice Ratio. And not in RA either.

Watch t.v go outside the house, I bet you see jerks everywhere.

60% Silent
15% Annoying
5% True jerks

Actually, in all honesty, I beleive the jerks (the real A-holes) are less than 5%...you gotta figure that another 5% are just folks having an off day and 10% are idiot kids exerting what little influence they think they have on the world by griefing or talking big or just being generally annoying...I beleive there to be some overlap within these groups accounting for an overall 7.64% of the community being a pain in the ass....the rest of you are great fun....you know who you are and some of you owe me money...
