Stop Talon's Grunting

Talon Silverwing is a really annoying hench- every time he grunts I look at my map for bad guys. Henchies shouldn't make a sound unless attacking or taking damage.

I nearly took the totally useless assasin hench for a tank instead of Talon- that's how much he bugs me.

lol, I was hopeing I wasn't the only one who wanted to shoot the bird when he grunts.

Don't take Talon then. And you're being quite stupid if you fall for it everytime again.

By the way, there's a little map/radar in your screen, don't you ever check that one?

LOL the first time I had this happen to me, i got the fright of my life i was looking all around for something to kill, then realised who it was..

LOL!!! Me too, it really got me that first time. The only Tengu type creatures are in Nahpui Quarter I do believe, so Talon is just funny the rest of the time.

When I heard it the first time during the pre event I told my friend 'STOP! I hear something' It was his damn grunting and I got alarmed cos i'm such a tengu hater .
But no, I don't suggest to shut his mouth... i mean beak shut. Just turn off your speakers.

Never play with Talon and a jungle troll mini-pet. You'll go mad.

My best friend has a jungle troll and we were doing Boreas seabed. It scared me because the area was clear and it was grunting. XD

and for taking someone other than talon? yes i will make cynn tank for me, great idea.

Not only is it annoying, but with the angle of the camera, it gets disproportionally loud. Even when I have sounds set so low that I can barely tell them apart, the grunting always so loud that it actually hurts.

I always pick Panaku over Talon. It's annoying that you have to sacrifice ability simply to stop the game from making you go deaf.

LOL - I kind of like Talon's grunting. All of it adds to the flavour of the game. The henchmen now have personalities.

Only I think that all minipets should be silenced, or at least made a lot quieter. I heard a jungle troll minipet in THK and it freaked me out.

And silence the damn minipets too. Especially Kuunavaang, oh em gee, I can't stand that shrieking, especially when these showoff kiddies keep them around all the time. ROAAR. RAAWRR. GRRR.

/not signed, Talon's grunting adds to the ambience of the game, and since you encounter but few opposing Tengu, it's not that confusing.

Other warrior henchies (or even players) to take if you don't like Talon, and I just love how my Kuunavang makes more noise than the real one!

If you need to know if there are enemies around look at the radar. Its not hard. Listening for grunts isnt the way to search for enemies.

Talon's squaking is one of the more annoying things in the game. At first, I did the double check on the radar too. Now, I know who it is and it still irritates me to no end. If I'm using henchies while playing my casters or Ranger, I'll take Devona every time over that dang oversized chicken. (when she's available, anyway)

Turning down the sound is not a good answer for it, either. You lose too much of the other noises that actually enchance the quality of gameplay, background sounds and what-not. Talon's squaking in you ear does NOT constitute background sounds.
