W/Mo Ghial the Bone Dancer solo farm...

Tested this build on Royen, but wont work. You cant do enough damage, and Royen uses Troll Unguent the whole time.
2nd time i changed Tiger Stance with Distraction Blow. Didnt work either. Troll Unguent has 10 sec recharge time, Distraction 20 sec.
So i dont know how you did it then. I might try to switch to axe and use Dusrupting Blow.

I have solo'ed Royen many times with this build and as a matter of fact I escorted someone else that was having a little trouble with him to show him how it was done. The only difference is that you take out all the foes in the area first, then his pet, then Royen. His pet helps heal him. You shouldn't have any trouble taking him down. When ever a ranger uses Troll Unguent you counter with Tiger Stance.

You can also get to ghial much more quickly if you go through Bukdek Byway from Wajuun Bazaar If you can make that run, more power to you. I just don't see how it's possible. With the crippling, poison, and whatever elite the necros use, good luck. At least -8 degen if not more.

Build also works on lian dragons petal outside market place in waijun bazzare, who drops lians lantern.
Need to kill the group of 3 knights first, then try and make lians group chase you all the way back to the portal for market place, as when you get close enough to it they will stop chasing and leave you alone, which leaves a nice bit of safety if you are getting in trouble.
Try to get the knight in the group to come to the bottom of the steps, then run upto the side wall of the steps by one of the pillars so you are shielded from the casters so they cant hit you.
If you have been lucky you can sometimes make the ritualist not follow the group but if he did run up steps and kill him first, then the other 2 casters, then finally lian.
I find on quite a lot of the runs sometimes after killing the knight the rest of the group dont bother attacking so you can just kill them at leisure.

she seems to drop just as bad as ghial though, havent had it once yet I farmed that item alot, got it about 3 times in 2 days, made about 90k off it, then it had a big price drop so i stopped farming it And yes your right, that same build could easily farm that. Mine was similar to this one, only I didnt use Tigers Stance or Sprint.

The fastest way to get there is to run from senji's.

Forget what I said before about running from marketplace, its not faster.


If you know what you're doing, you'll never die on your way there, unless you get bodyblocked (and even then, you might be able to fight out of it).

Just takes practice. You are correct. Senji's is as straight a shot as you can get. If you die in this run with a warrior then... you might want to start another character.

This is pissing me off to no end. I've done about thirty farming runs over the past four days, and he's dropped one staff.

Not only that, but every time I go to fight him, HE'S HOLDING HIS WEAPON. The silver-dyed bone staff that I want so very much. When he dies, he's still gripping it, taunting me, laughing at me.

I'm wondering why the hell I can't just take it when he's sitting there dead, holding it. But the game is being stupid. I rotate farming between Stonereaper, Baubao's Shell, and Ghial, but so far, nothing has dropped for the past four days.

wtf is going on. Captain Robo, persistance is the name of the game that is why the staff is still selling for 50 - 60K. As we all know it is not hard to get to him and then even to kill him is not that hard either, so the only way that the staff is maintaining the price is because it is glued to his hand lol.

Also Captain try throwing a mission into your rotation movements, that usually resets the farming nerf they have active. I used to rotate too and nothing happened, then a guildy asked me to help him with a mission and I did, then whent back to Ghail, two runs later I had the staff.

He doesn't drop very good as Stee said right in the beginning. The running part, well I have never had any problems getting to Ghial, the first group I encounter is easy too.
What I do there is run over the bridge, wait for the Rit boss to start running towards me, then I run back to the beginning of the bridge where there are always two guards there. They attack the Rit boss and his buddies attack them so you run through them without taking 1 single hit

The rest is easy straight running, like Stee said if you can't make this run maybe you should be playing another character lol

I will go there again to see if I can get him to drop it for me again haven't been there in ages
