No, its not a complaint. Its a build.
A/Me
Illusion 8
Dagger 13+
Critical 11
Shadow 9
(I use runes and mask in here somewhere but I forgot which on)
Palm Strike (e) - Counts as Off hand attack
Golden Phoenix Strike- Off hand attack, hits if enchanted
Twisting Fangs - bleeding and deep wounds. kick butt
Horns of the Ox (or Critical Strike, or any other Dual)
Golden Lotus Strike - net +4 or 5 energy lead attack
Shadow Refuge (or go all out and use a teleport skill) - healing and survival
Distortion - 75% evade stance.
Illusion of Weakness - Gives 150 hit points if your health goes below 25% FROM ATTACKS.
I basically am trying this out because I'm not very good at the micro-management, and I have lag. I forget to re-activate enchantments.
The idea here is to hit with 2 Dual attacks in quickly. GPS> Twisting . This essentially does 220 or so hits damage on a 500 hit-point mob (counting the duration of the bleeding, and assuming you kill the mob before deep wounds ends) Use Distortion for defence.
Illusion of Weakness gives 150 hits when it ends, and there is no upkeep or time limit. So it helps you survive, as well as enables Golden Phoenix Strike and Golden Lotus Strike. Use Golden Lotus strike if your 4 main attack skills are still recharging and you are low on energy. If the enemy is focusing on you, you need to use distortion, and run away, cause your energy will run out to quickly. If, however, you don't want to use distortion, you don't have to put any points in Illusion. However, in that case, you should just disipline yourself to remember to re-activate your Assassin enchantment every 30 seconds. 8 illusion reduces the cost of distortion to 2 energy everytime you get hit...which is manageable in shorter fights. This build is for PVE BTW.
In truth, I just started trying this out. Its OK. The Assassin is difficult and I'm still dying a lot, but that's me, not the build.
