Random crashing

Hi all

Dont know if you can helps me but I have been experiencing random crashing during GW. My screen freezes and I can either reset the PC or press ctrl alt and delete and occasionally it minimises GW to the desktop. Im just not sure why its happening.

PC Specs:

AMD Athlon 64 3500+
1GB Crucial RAM (PC3200)
200 GB Western digital HD
Geforce 7800 GT

Nvidia 84.21 drivers

*edit* Thought I would just mention that I just tried GW and got a '3D Initialization Error' saying I need to make sure I have DX 8, I have DX 9.0c.

I check the event viewer each time it crashes, but nothing ever shows up as a problem. Any idea's / suggestions welcome

This started happening to me this weekend June 2. Complete lockup with Screen freeze. In Factions. I have never had this problem before and have no idea what is going on.

The akward thing is, I do a lot of PvP (Aspenwood) and its really frustrating to have a total screen lockup since it means I can't even apologise to the others that I am going to have to leave.
