mineral springs chest farming.

i searched and couldn't find anything about it. My question is , is it worth it?

u drop/buy some shiverpeak keys and, like in any other zone, u see a chest and click on it ... u ll get a purple/gold item .. rinse, repeat blahblahblah

I don't recall any great discussions concercerning Shiverspeak chest farming (other than the now defunct Dreadnaught's Drift chests). If you are interested in chest farming, perhaps you should try your hand in FoW. People often do chest runs there.

I think about 6 months ago there was a chest right outside mineral springs. You could easily run there grab loot and zone back to mineral. If I remember correctly it took only 1 minute or so.

Cant remember though whether they put the 25 ice imps there at the beginning or after the run became very popular.

chest running is a risk no matter were u run

best place i found for drops is ice floe but these chest can be far apart and sometimes u get a bad spawn and no chests spawn

everyone knows about port sledge 2-3 chests a run drops are rather crap

Only if you farm trolls for Shiverpeak keys and even then the keys are usually better to merchant than what comes from the chests.

ive run 600+ chests since they released the titles and out of them chests 20-30 of the golds have been worth selling

my average is 1 gold in 3 chests or 1 gold per run, sometimes u get 3 golds in a run then 12 purples <<mainly port sledge as u can do a run in a few mins

mineral springs takes longer so imo isnt really worth the effort..i do a few ice floe runs every now and again just for a change of scenery+the chances of getting a mursaat bow/hammer are fairly good there
