Log in options.

Well since there has been alot of lag and stuff with factions I have noticed that the lag only gets me when I log in to a packed district. So I was wondering if mabye Anet could make an option that logs you in a less populated district instead of a packed one because once im out of the populated places I run fine. Im sure all us poor 56kers would apreciate it

But seriously, even for people like me...with FAST internet...loading a packed district is a bit of a strain, though I can't complain much at the average 11.3 second load time(I gathered evidence before claiming a point :P)

I think it could be solved by putting fewer people in Districts though, maybe not. I don't know anything about the ANet server setup, so I'm not going to assume(...) that they could do such a thing. If not more districts with fewer people, then yes, an option to put people just signing in into a less populated district would be nice.

Although I'm not on 56K, I would appreciate this feature for my poor 56King girlfriend. I was pretty disappointed that my own thread didn't generate a lot of discussion.

But having this feature for everyone, even the broadband crowd, would be good, especially considering the lag people now experience in Factions.

This would mean more districts which is what Anet doesn't want. Gaile once said that they intentionally made the district system better so that they have fewer districts now. I can't see a way for this without having a lot of new districts.
