Buying Kurzick Faction? Possible?

When accepting the "Befriending the Kurzicks" quest in "House zu Heltzer", the count tells you that "certain individuals" are selling Kurzick faction for gold...

Is this a proven fact, can you buy faction instead of earning it trough the missions/quests? Just wondering, since he does point it out, and earning 10,000 faction will take quite some time.

When he says that he's refering to the unscrupulous, you as a hero are not unscrupulous and would therefore never do such a thing. That said, AFAIK, there are no npc's in the game that sell faction, just the ones that trade jadite/amber for it. That said, 10k faction is pretty easy to earn via alliance battles and alliance missions (fort aspenwood, jade quarry, etc)

I think it MIGHT refer to something that I've heard about. That is, that bribing the rez shrine guards can get you faction with that side. Not sure if bribing them does or not though.

Bribing them gives you access to the res shrine should you die and not be of the appropriate faction.

I read a preview that was talking about the different ways we will be able to gain kurzick/luxon and it mentioned that we would be able to bribe friendly shrine guards to gain faction.
I have tired this in game though and there is no option to bribe them. You can get a blessing and that seems to be it.
I figure they removed it for balancing reasons...

Well, you can bribe a priest!

Let's say, you've chosen the Kurzicks and you go to some Luxon res shrine..
If you talk to their priest you can bribe 'm (or fight ) for, what? 100g?
if you do so you'll get 10 Luxon Faction...

I didn't know you received faction from the aspenwood missions etc (doesnt say in the reward description) - It took me about 4 hours to get 5k faction from quests :S

bribe and kurzick priest i think and you get faction.. but its expensive...
