Pet question

Can i change my second profession to get a pet? im lvl 20...

I'm guessing you are playing a character with zero 'rangerness' such as a "Mo/W". If so, you can change your secondary class to Ranger, equip "Charm Animal", and go and get yourself a pet. As long as you are a Ranger secondary and you have Charm Animal equipped, your pet will follow you.

Simply changing your secondary will not automatically get you a pet, though, if that's what you're asking.

hmm, and where do I get that skill?

in one of the towns in the desert u can change ur second prof to ranger after completeing the "Rangers Path" quest


once u have done that travel to Ascalon city and purchase Charm animal from the skill trainer

I don't think you need to buy charm animal after switching second profession.

If your not given the charm Animal skill automatically you do NOT need to buy the skill. Head into Old Ascalon and find Ranger Nentre (or however you spell his name) - he's standing by Balthazar's Statue. He has a quest for Ranger's that will teach you the Charm Animal skill if you don't have it already.
