Wonder if we'll get like a shaman or something
IMO we already have a shaman...the ritualist. By its clothes and by the way he moves when he casts spirits, it seemed more African to me then Asian, but then again I dont know much about either of the cultures. Thats why I made my ritualist as African looking as possible despite the generally all Asian faces.

On another note, I figured they would go to Africa next. One of the few landscapes they havent done yet are a savanah, and I think I suggested that they visit an African like place in a thread a long while back..I'm not going to waste my time finding it though .

Sounds very original IMO. Cant wait.

Open areas ftw! No more paths chosen for us I hope..

HA needs fixing/changing, we don't need new and pointless "competition" modes like alliances that only our PvE characters can grind.
alliance battles can be played with PvP only chars... go to GH and talk to Alliance Battle dude or something...

though i admit... after part 3 is out, who will ever play alliance battles? not to mention when were at part 10...

Lets see..Auction house...North Africa...Auction House...North Africa..

Oh I can TOTALLY see how an Auction House fits into North Africa!

/endsarcasm

Anyways, I like the whole talk of all of this and what not, I do enjoy it.

Is it just me, or does every 6 months sound like a lot? I mean 2 basically entirely new games per year? We JUST barely got factions, and people are looking forward to the new release already. Feeling like you have thoroughly played through a Campaign takes me more than 6 months. Maybe the others won't be the magnitude that Prophecies was, but for some people it will take them that long to just get to the end, much less play it through.
Also, will there be new classes for every release? If that is the case I'm not exactly keen on the idea. The amount of classes will become unbearable. Sure the vets will be happy to see more diversity, etc. But that's a lot. I don't disagree with adding new campaigns new character etc. but two per year seems a little quick to me.

I'm gonna have to agree with Hippocheesebarn. At first, the idea sounds great, but after that. Every 6 months does seem a little too fast for me. I mean, I'm STILL doing the Sorrow's Furnace quests on my main. THEN, I'll be done. Until then however, I'll have to do the whole Factions campaign, and who knows how long THAT will take. I've got a life outside of Guild Wars, no matter how much I love the game. So I don't think I'll be fast enough to catch up before they release Chapter 3. I do like the idea of a African themed culture though. I also think we should've save the Ritualist for the 3rd Chapter too. I wonder what enemy the "Africans" will be facing...also, it's not like Chapter 1 covered the traditional European culture theme. I never saw any grand castles and such... ... ...I'm rambling so I think I'll stop now. :P Yeah, I'm going to be picking up my Collector's Edition this weekend...yay me! ^_^ Later Guys, gotta get back to work. :P

Games dont suck if you take the time to enjoy them. Games suck when you rush through them like a n00b.
Dude, we think alike...that's kinda creepy. LOL. I mean, I practically soloed all of the Prophecies campaign...THEN I had myself rushed through it. Also, I've explored 99% of the Tyrian map...exactly 99%...I can't find the rest of the 1% but the game was enjoyable at my pace. ^_^

Two new classes, two more character slots, and same old linear PvE content. All for $49.99. Nothing to wow about. Just take a look at Factions. More like an expansion to me. I can just forecast it. Guild Wars 4: South American Jungle. Guild Wars 5: The Australian Outback. Guild Wars 6: The Medival Europe. Guild Wars 7: Antarctica. Hmmm, Guild Wars 8: Outer Rims of the Galaxy. Eight Guild Wars in total. So that makes, 16 character slots FTW!

Cantha is Asian-INfluenced but not Asian-Exact.

I'm sure this game will be North African Influenced, but not NF-Exact.

But you know since you mentioned Antartica, I'd LURV to see a surpreme cold campaign or something.

Edit: AND remember we can now (or soon will be) able to BUY character slots, so thats a possibility of 30+ slots for some people

Ooh north africa. I can almost picture some of the new armours now. Necros instead of face scars get a bone piercing through the nose..... Most armours are skimpy and consist of loincloths and...... well that's about it actually

Congrats. You've generalized a generalized statement. Have fun with that.

...anyway...an African theme just happens to be exactly what I wanted to see next. /sigh seems like I'll never be able to escape the game I wonder if this means no tengu in chapter 3, and no more of their evil battle cry, "Mah-wrawk!" Well if GW continues to follow the path of my imagination then Chapter 4 will be set in a nation floating above the clouds! Yahar!

My guess is somewhere where the weather changes like mad... From Ice to Blazin hot! And there'll be igloo's and tents all over the place depending on the time of year.

ok.. that was dumb... nevermind that. [:S] this is the reason why i just play the games. w00t w00t
