Drunken Master Title... OMG

I recently set the goal of obtaining the Drinking Title, as the search feature in the forums is presently down.
I was wondering if anyone had any tips for getting this title. I recently passed 60 mins of drunkeness, however I was stuck at 64 mins when for 10 mins which = 20 consecutive dwarven ale my title counter seemed to be stuck at 64 mins... It didn't budge for a full 10 mins.

I pop 1 every 30 secs, while trying to explore the map.
I must say Im a bit frustrated as I spent the entire night without sleep to get money to buy the ale, and now I basically just wasted 4k...

Has anyone achieved these titles yet?
Does your body build up a tolerance to it after a certain amount of time or sumthing?

Take 100k right? buy 500 Dwarvern Ale, when farming drink them and don't let the coolness go away, repeat when afking, Missions, Talking, Gvging, pvping, ABing, running around in circles. Then buy more OR, play for 16.666666 hours straight sitting in an outpost drinking.

Someone has posted a message that what in his opinion is the most effective way to do it.

Drink 5 in a row. Then every three minutes in real life, drink 3 more, and repeat.

The time required to get that title is, IIRC, 1,000 minutes of being falling down drunk (i.e., the effect you get if you drink 5 Ales). So, this title is more than likely the single biggest money sink in the game.

Whats the point of drinking 3 ales every 3 minutes ? i tried drinking 5, then 1 every minute, so i can stay at max level of drunkuness drunknesss dnruk... hips ! Full of beer . Which is funnier (imho).

Does drinking just one every minute work? It has something to do with maintaining the drunk level to drink three every three minutes more efficiently I guess. I haven't done it myself as I would want to actually complete the whole path and after you get 1000 minutes, you have to get 10000. Way too much money and time for me to even bother to persue further.

I should get the Drunkard title in a few days. Here is how I proceed: start with 3 ales and drink one more every minute. That's enough.

I doubt there is a Drunken Master title or something like that. I'll post when I'll have the Drunkard master

And yes there really is a 10000 minute one :S It'll cost well over 2million and 166hours of your life.

Not sure about the 2 millions. Ill probably get my drunkard title for about 40k

1000 minutes = 1000 ale + the 2 you need to get started

So 1002 Ale. 1002 x 200 (per ale) = 200400gold

And thats if you take do it all in 1 go.

3(beers)/60(mins)= 20 (beers per min)
20(beers per hour)*200(gold)=4000(cost of beers per hour)
1000(min)/60(min) = 16.666(hours)
.6*60(mins)=40 mins
16(hours)*4000(gold for beer)=64k
40(mins)/3=13.3 (14 in this case)
14*3=42
42*200=8400(gold)
8400(gold)+400(gold to add to the first drunkness)+64000(gold)=72800(gold for all the beer for get your self wasted)

That working doesn't even make sense...

Its 200 per ale, and its 1 ale per minute drunk. If you can find me a flaw in 200 x 1000 i'd like to see it...

Oh actually i see it...

3beers/60 min; would = 1 beer / 20 min. Which as i understand from all of the above posts is completely inaccurate. You most certainly (from that equation) don't derive 20 beers per minute. But assuming what you meant was 3 beers/ per 60 seconds ; then you would get 1 beer every 20 seconds and 180 beers every hour.
Now without proceeding past that, I must assume you were 1) kidding when you made your post or 2) already on your way to achieveing the real life title of drunken master.
If it is the latter, then may i say God Bless yah!

If someone knows the exact amount of beer it takes to maintain drunkness and the amount of time it must be maintained for and lastly the cost of beer you can calculate the cost:

Drunkness = Beers/min

Drunkness * time (in min to accomplish title) * cost of beer = total cost;

Further if you are finding that difficult there is aid to help you out

start\all programs\accessories\calculator

*please ppl watch your conversions make certain if you are working with beer per min that total time taken is in min.

There's actually a cheaper way. Remember those rewards you get from each quest that you can trade in at the quartermaster of each major town? Totems at Cavalon, Imperial Commendations at Kaineng, etc. I've only used mine on alcohol and I've accumulated quite a bit. If you use multiple toons (which I assume most of us do), you can start a pretty good beer stash for free. Getting drunk while waiting for pugs in HA (or anywhere for that matter) is an excellent time to be under the influence btw...
