Swords have all the sweet skins...

Swords have a bunch of sweet skins like fellblade, fiery dragon sword, crytalline sword (just to name a few) while axe has only 1 (chaos axe) and hammer doesnt have any. i mean they all have cool skins, but sword seems liek the only weapon with special skins

i kind of have to agree, i mean there are a few nice looking axes, and like 2 or 3 nice hammers, but swords have MANY nice looking skins, i think this has changed in ch2

dam zaxan, that is pretty sick. but what im saying is that its just metal, while swords are made of crystal and fire.

I think Anet favors swords. It seems like there are a few better sword skills than axe and/or hammer. Now I haven't read through all the new Factions skills, so don't jump down my throat. I'm coming from the Tyrian point of view. Some examples are riposte and deadly riposte, and besides desperation blow why can't axes or hammers cause bleeding.

I can show any non-believers (in real life) that a hammer can cause bleeding.

IMHO, the Sephis Axe is, was and always will be the most beautiful axe.

Ahh yes, the Sephis Axe.... quite nice. I am really liking some of the Factions axes, but other than the Spiked Hammer (a personal favorite, which most definately would cause bleeding, IMO), I haven't seen any really nice looking hammers in Cantha.

I am still lost on a lot of people's infatuation with Serpent Axes. I mean really, it's not that great.

Wing's Axe (green item) is pretty nice.

Glowing Runic Hammer anyone?

The 'spikey' War hammer looks pretty cool. I get asked what it is every time I go into a mission.

I love some of the new factions skins BTW.

I never liked the crystal and glowing stuff, my favorite Axe has always been the Summit Axe. Now with Factions I'm using swords, as the Gothic Sword is the best looking ever.
