Well i consider it a bug because i type 80-90 words a minute and the blasted message keeps popping up. If someone is trying to annoy or complain i would use the ignore list anyways, so i don't see your point of "lessening the usage of the ignore list" i assume you are talking the limited amount of users we can add to it. Anyways that check is too sensitive and needs to be changed.

Yes, it is a bug.. this has happened to me too since one of the patches within the week or before.

It looks like a bug to me, last night i was typing a message to the guild channel, but accidently i´ve put it in trade channel, then when i put it in guild channel the message poped up, then it took a long time to be able to write again in guild channel.

If its not a bug its really annoying

Type a message, type another one, wait 5 secs, type again. It has a second duration between each message to not get the excessive message.

You know that the up arrow will bring back previous messages, right? So you don't have to retype one if it is blocked.

Please remove the surpression of messages from the guild chat and private chat. Thanks!

This also affect guild chat, and it kicks in when you are not spamming, just typing at a reasonable rate.

I think you can trust us to moderate on our OWN GUILDS.

PM filters are also too sensitive. Anywho, at least this isn't active in team chat.

EDIT: I think in local chat, repeated messages should be filtered.
People should learn to use the trade channel. I a lot of games, your forth sucessive message no matter if you said it 5 minutes or 2 seconds ago is surpressed. Its easily bypassed, but at least it will add inconvenience to people spamming trades in local chat.

For the love of god, PLEASE nuke the spam filter in whispers and guild chat. It is pointless and annoying. I type fast and if I want to say something that's longer than GW's already short character limit, I can't send my second line in guild chat because it ****ing suppresses me! There are other ways of dealing with it:
- Tell your guildies not to spam the guild chat. If he doesn't listen, he probably shouldn't be in your guild anyway.
- Ignore the person whispering to you if you don't want to hear him.

Simple as that. Please get rid of the damn filter.

Amen and very well said. You're right, the character limit is really short, it's a pain to have to cut off your sentences to finish stuff. Just how many characters can be entered?

I am fuming mad!

Am I the only one here that is livid about this new Guild chat suppression!? It is by far more annoying that being interrupted during a hot pvp match!

I am going to petition to have this removed! I understand that in the Team and Alliance chat this has not been implemented, but it is totally inconvenient to use those channels for communication.

The suppression is such that we at our guild cannot carry on NORMAL conversation!!! If this was implemented because people were spamming on guild chat, well then obviously that Guild has issues to discuss with its members. Suppression is NOT the answerer for poor guild leadership.

I want your honest answerers, do we petition to have it removed or not!?

I vote for having Guild chat back to the way it was!
