Hench Commands and Skill Set Hotkeys

Just a couple ideas that in my opinion would not be difficult at all to implement, and would work wonders for the game.

First would be hench commands. At the very least, a great idea I think would be a "stay" command, where hench just stand still, don't follow you, don't attack etc.

Hench are great when you don't have a pug to join, but essential things like pulling mobs becomes near impossible when hench warriors just charge right in.

Also, minor things like capping pets would be easier, since hench wouldn't demolish the animal before it's charmed.

My second idea, would be to add a skill sets hotkey, much like the F1-F4 keys for weapons. Why not some hotkeys for specific 8 skill builds? Then it would be a flash in town to just hit your farm build, or your such and such build. This would help out quite a bit in my opinion. I know people are always tweaking, but to have core builds that you use frequently set to a key would be a great help. Then you just quickly adjust your attributes. Unless that could also be included in the hotkey, which would be even better.

Sorry if either of these have been suggested before, never actually went into this area until now, and didn't see any related titles in the first couple pages.

Also quests where you have to split into groups is near impossible. However this has been covered before and I believe anet is working on the situation from what I've heard.

Being able to have up to four skill sets to go with the weapon sets would be nice too.

how about if we could select a hench on the party list, mark a red signal on the minimap, and he would go there? That might also be a simplified command.

/signed - I would love this feature. Been asking for henchie commands since as far back as I can remember. However, I currently don't see Anet adding anymore features; instead I see them renaming such as content and selling it tacked on to future chapters. So, while it's a great idea, I don't see it being added (hope I'm wrong though).

Hench commands would be perfect.
Saved Skill setups and Attribute Points even more so.

They stay command would make henchies stay put and attack from range only (wars just stay looking and tanking or something) Then you would go and lure with no problem at all, pull back, unblock the henchies feet and smash the beast easy.

The build hotkeys! Then I could get rid of my dozens of build Post-its! (My wall is covered in post-its, a seperate section for each char)

Henchie commands would be nice also... the assassin keeps teleporting into the group of monsters I am carefully trying to avoid.

I agree with both ideas and have been trying to e-mail the same suggestion on the skill set hotkeys to Guild Wars support with no luck. I'm surprised with how well rounded all of the rest of the game is that this feature hasn't been incorporated yet

Sounds good to me, henchies are just too dumb when it comes to attacking a large group.

At the very least, have a way to custom order your skills so each set would be easier to find!

/signed on those henchie commands definitely. It's a pain not being able to at least tell them to stay put!

A HECK YES!!! To the skill sets. I frequently change my elementalist from a Fire build to a Air build. However the attribute points would still need to be assigned, so hopefully those could make it into the skill sets as well.
Naturally this would have to be only done in town. Maybe a drop down box near the weapons bar and grayed out once you're in the field.

EDIT: FIRST POST!!! WHOOO!
EDIT: Lol, did I make a gramatical error?

But even without this, henchies are better than most PUGs.

I was thinking about the skill sets the other day and came here to see if it had been suggested. Great idea.

...as long as the skill changes are ONLY avaliable INSIDE towns and outposts...othewise it would just ruin the whole game...
