I saved up my gold for a couple of months for the sole purpose of buying new armor as soon as Factions was released. On Monday, after they fixed the faction rewards guy, I immediately traded in my faction points for 13 pieces of Amber, then paid 5-6k per piece to everyone who would sell them. Once I had 80 pieces (took about 15 minutes to buy them all) I bought my armor.

quickest way to earn kurzick faction is to do the following:
1. Form a party (humans or henchies) in the outpost called "Brauer Academy".
2. Zone out the north portal and take the "Duelists" quest
3. Run down to the dualists, kill them take reward (400) and mapback.
4. Then do that over and over
From accepting quest to receiving reward is about 3 minutes.
The quickest way to earn Luxon faction is to do the following:
1. Zone to "Breaker Hollow" equip running skills (if you dont have any, change secondary to ranger and buy "run as one" and "storm chaser" from the skills guy).
2. Exit to the south east and take "Luxon Supplies" quest.
3. Use running skills to run continuously to the quest marker and accept reward (400)
4. Map jump back and do it again and again.

Hopefully enough people will start doing this and stat spreading the word so that the market is flooded therefore lowering the price that people are asking in town.

Take time to explore the area. It's not overwhelmingly large, and you find that you do not have access until you follow the main quest. The main quest should lead you where you need to go. (speaking from my experience on the luxon side...I would imagine it's the same on the kurzick side.)

Considering that I can easily get 10k faction/hour, and considering the insane items I get from doing do, I can easily have a full set of kurzick armor from scratch in 1 playing day.
Just gotta know where to go. Too bad only me and 2 other people know where this is, cause the place is a ghost town.
