Quimang's Last Stand; Bugged?

Ive been trying to get through Quimang's Last stand but i keep failing, It says there are reinforcements on the way, but there are none, there are only canthan guards which dont do anything but deliver annoying dialogue...its pretty hard fighting all those mobs with only 3 level 6 henchmen, was anyone able to get through this?

It can be soloed with higher level charas by moving carefully.

Did it on my Elementalist atleast at L18.

Yep, those guards are the only reinforcements.

It's hard with henches, pick up a group instead. With careful enough pulling at the end you should be fine.

But the Reinforcements dont follow do they?, or atleast mine dont... Im a level 13 assasin and really most pugs are worse off than henchies...

Yeah, bug. There's a bunch of guards along the way who look like they 'should' follow you, but...

Canthan Guard Captain: "Life is simple here on Shing Jea Island."
Me: "FOLLOW DAMMIT!"

I managed to do it with a group of high-levelers after reaching level 20 myself. But I reckon the reinforcements thing needs to be fixed.

well me 2 other people and healing hecny just couldn't crack the last big group of bad guys, there simply was no way to pull them with out bring down so many that we coulnd't handle (haveing a quite hight dp by then wasn't helpful either) we mgiht have made it if we had a real player instead of a hecnh man... but its a very silly missoin

I did finally manage to do it with a group of lvl 13-16s, very well co-ordinated team, but we still ended up with 60 DP, ive sent in a support ticket but still no feedback =/

I managed to solo them all just by using my rit lvl13.

Take vengeful weapon on max and take some other self heals and maybe some dmg or blind spirits if you want. Then terrain abuse so that only one person can hit you with arrows and slap on V.W. whenever its recharged which is every couple of seconds. This + your wand/staff dmg kills them almost instantly. One by one and eventually the mission is EASY!

did it the same way so you did ventius... with spirits... then i came back at lvl 18 and helped some ppl do that quest... it really helps if you have someone in the group to do aoe dmg

I agree. The quest description gives the impression that the guards will join you.

Also, if you want to attempt it with henchies, you can do so with level 10s from up north. Travel is a bit farther though.
