Can I go back to Tyria once I take my character to cantha?

I have a ranger that I use for UW and FoW, and I would like to take him to Cantha. If I do that, will I be able to go back to Tyria and still use him normally, or is taking him to Cantha an end all?

sweet.... can I change his secondary profession and go back also? (assuming I can change secondary professions)

Absolutely, just click on the ship icon. Was nipping back and forth as armour ingredients were cheaper in Tyria.

I've been going back and forth from Tyria to Cantha on all of my ascended characters. Works out well, even changed professions and went back. I don't see why it wouldn't be any different from the regular Tyria map and zoning.

Play in Cantha for awhile they two have theer own temple of ages, not called that of course.
