Minister Cho's Estate mission: 93 melee damage from boss?

I dont have screenshots but I swear the lvl 11 afflicted boss at the end of the first mission does 93 damage (melee) to me as an assassin with the strongest armor available this early in the game. When I was dead I observed that he took out the gaurdian henchmen in TWO swipes as well as the healer, the second swipe was way overkill though because the first one took more than 3/4ths of her health. Anyone have any way of not losing at the end?

I breeze through the entire thing easy with hench up until afflicted minister cho then its over in seconds.

really? i took him out in around 10 (rough estimate wasnt long at all) seconds maybe with a a/w.

I'd like to get into this area so i have the whole map uncovered. Unfortunatly, the zone requires me to talk two people in the lagoon and then they redirect me to the estat and then it's still blocked off. I'm level 20 using my prophecies ranger. If you can give me any info about how to access these zones I'd be happy to help you with them.

Actually, I never saw him use melee (other than his vampiric horrors). What killed me though was that necro Chill skill (don't remember the exact name). It's PAINFUL and spammable during the right conditions...

How are you guys surviving at such low levels. I'm on mainland (First mission) and level 19... I couldn't imagine being level 12.

THe henchman and I had him down in under a minute quite easily. Level 8 W/R.

use the ritualist henchie. we arent getting huge damage like that because the rit hench uses shelter, a party version of prot spirit. therefore we only get like, 20 dmg per attack.

In Vizunah Square mission i've had the afflicted do insane amounts of damage to me on occasions. Lightning orb 696 was a one hit kill for me, Ray of Judgement 230, normal lightning orbs at 139 sometimes and soul explosions hit for around 200+. This is only occasionally and I have no idea why they are hitting insane amounts of damage. And before anyone asks, yes i was wearing armor.
