Bring Back The Ettins!!!!!!!

i went to Bettleton today,, and guess what! Ettins are nurfed after the last big update. did 5 runs, no runes at all, went to town and i read, everyone complaining about Ettin nurf! nobody gettin any more drops there and people are just woundering if its a new nurf.

DID ANYONE GET ANY ETTIN DROPS TODAY?

Sounds more like a 'keep this a farming-heavy game please!' to me...
you could also just be having a bad streak. a few friends of mine haven't had any problems. *shrug*

lol and i dont farm much, cuz its just boring and time consuming, so i would rather run.... unless i on my laggy PC

Nope you're just unlucky. I did 3 runs today from NKP to Nebo hit 4 groups of three in NKP and 5 groups of 3 in Nebo. 3 gold armors 4 purples. 1 of the golds was Superior Absorb.

Most seem to think that there was a major nerf in drops. Those saying otherwise are in the minority and me thinks tugging your femur.

Ettins have been nerfed, anyone saying otherwise hasn't been out there recently.

9 runs today, and not a single thing higher then a white.

I hate to sound rude, but the reason people are getting jack when they farm things is because if you constantly grind areas, then drops decrease. It was an update a while ago. I switch my farming areas and farm each area for a week or two, then switch to the next place. This keeps my drops nice and fresh.

That doesn't explain why everyone seems to be having the problem at the exact same time.

i don't farm there often, a guildie in my guild farms there like two-three times a week and constantly gets , and a couple days ago got a gold item, him and i were farming today seeing if they have been nerfed he did 9 runs as well and got nothing but white pauldrons as well.

It has been nerfed and all I can say is it's about time. You only have yourselves to blame. Ecto are gonna be super easy to come by now too with factions out. HA HA HA HA.

It was an error and it has been changed back to the way it was. HA HA HA HA HA HA! Also, increased the number of superior vigor and absorbtion drops!

Just checked again. Ettins still drop crap. Best I got was three purple drops in an hour worth of runs just to test it out. The increase drop rate of superior vigors and absorbtion is a good thing for those that don't like to farm. Easier to come by mean more will find their way to the merchant and that means lower prices. Also means in the run of the game you have a much better chance and finding one yourself so you don't have to spend a fortune buying one from the trader. The increased availability of ecto also still exists.

i think the rate of ectos increased..today in one run, i got 2 ectos from one group of smites. the next run, another one dropped for me from an aatxe. The run after that, my necro pal got one too!

Well the ectos were suppose to be easier to come by because they were to be rare crafting material that you can salvage from certain things. The increase in drops is probably because alot of people now are playing in cantha and not as many people are doing the UW runs.

I think they are nerfed, normally I get a gold one each small run I do, now I should be happy to even see my Pauldrons get the color blue. I did around 10 - 15 and only 1 superior, and a few purples which is shit.

I heard my friend say he got 4 Superior Absorptions in 1 hour - of which 2 in 1 run -, so it might be me unlucky.

Try the ettins through the zone by what used to be the Kurzick settlement.. they seem to be much better, usually at least 2/4 of them drop runes. But I do agree that the ettins outside of the beetletun are nerfed.. how the ones a little farther east arent.. I dont know.

Even if Ettin Farming is nerfed, the prices for sup absorbs and vigors are dropping fast nowadays. They increased the likelyhood of identifying either of those runes so don't expect to be getting 50K for them. I have been running around in Cantha the past 2 days or so and already found 3 sup absorbs >.<
