Problem Buying a Guildhall

Anyone else having problems buying a Guildhall?

A friend of mine just started his own Guild, registered it, bought the sigil, went to get the Guildhall and apparently all the Ambassador does is show him the Guildhalls and wont actually allow him to get 1 no matter which option / Guildhall he chooses.

Ne one have ne ideas??

I'm running into the same problem... I finally saved enough cash to buy a sigil (don't PvP enough apparently), and now the ambassador won't do squat other than tak me from one island to another.

well at least hes not the only 1 it seems so hopefully someone here can shed some light on the matter..

btw: he did send in a bug report regarding it so hopefully Anet will sort it..

perhaps this is related to the addition of new guildhall with the release off factions.

I had no problems buying a guild hall last night.

Well he tried buying it today ( after update ) so yeah maybe its to do with the implementation ( blimey thats a long word for me lol ) of the new guildhalls as S_Serpent suggested.

It'll get fixed either way, you're certainly not meant to be unable to buy one.

well it could be that there are some new halls on the way and they dont want guilds spending all that cash on a guild hall when with factions a guil hall come's they would off liked better

By that logic, buying FoW armour should be disabled.

There've been many reports of folks not being able to buy guild halls since last night's update. probably related to the new guildhall related content already having been loaded and they just want to suspend all guildhall transactions until tonight/tomorrow. Im getting me some guild storage! and anything else I can get asap.

If that's the case they should at least post some notice of it... was talking with someone in game earlier and he had his sigil taken, but no hall given...
