Wait wait wait. I saw the whole buy factions get a t-shirt deal at best buy, but I thought it said it was available Friday. Are they selling it already?

BTW why did they make the box so HUGE! Is that the collectors edition? I thought the collectors edition had the Ritualist art.

The larger box is a display only box, and as for the shirt, who knows.

The stores have the game before its release so obviously he knows someone that works there or works there himself.

That's not a display box. Display boxes have "FOR DISPLAY ONLY" written in huge letters on the front.

Man that is a big box... In australia our game boxes are barely the size of VHS containers.

You can tell its a display box from the top and bottom flaps. I have a few from random games that my EBGames was giving away. They look just like that. And they don't say for display only.

Now go grab a real box from a game and you'll see what I mean...

Now to just go back to EBGames and convince them to sell me the Factions cardboard cutout display thingy...4 ft tall Assassin in my room O.O

the real trick is getting a standee display, i have several in my attic now from my days of employment with EBGames.... that and 90% of my tshirts are game shirts i got while working there..

I paid for the CE at GameStop and they gave me the shirt. I didn't even know about it. Then when I walked out of the store and saw the display, I went back in and asked about the cutout. They said someone already claimed it but to be back on the 2nd. They gave me a box instead. They also called the sister store, EB in the mall, and their cutout is reserved by some kid. They didn't think the kid was going to come back for it though. We'll see Tuesday morning.

And yes, it is exactly the same as the regular Factions box, only larger.

Rex, ask them if they still have shirts and that you didn't get one with your order. Tell them you didn't know about the free shirt thing. Your best bet is to go up there with your receipt when the same cashier is there so they don't think you are scamming a 2nd shirt.

That's awesome. I didn't know you could just ask to claim cutouts and stuff. Ima start a grand ol' collection from now on.
