Lapin, I'd really like to know what's happening. I wasn't aware that there were any problems with the video. Did you ever get to see the entire thing? Was it freezing, restarting?
We archive videos on Filefront, but that will probably be a couple of months away at the earliest. You can see what we've got available by clicking on the old videos link in the menu. I'll be cleaning house yet again this week. So expect to see more available for downloading.

Sorry for the late reply; I don't check the art forum too often.
The video spends a little bit of time at the beginning buffering itself, then starts playing. At some point, the screen goes dark, the progress bar returns to the beginning, and it starts buffering again. A friend of mine watching at about the same time saw the same problem. Having only tried the two times, I have not seen the entire thing.

Thanks for taking to the time to let us know! I use Firefox and I've watched that particular video through a few times without a problem. I have had that problem with other videos though. We're checking into it to see if we can figure out what's wrong. Sorry about that and hopefully we'll able to get this worked out soon.

I'm pretty sure these two issues can be resolved somewhat easily. It is most likely due to one of two things: 1) You need to update your Media Player plugin for your browser (most likely the problem), or 2) You need to play with your firewall to allow Media Player to connect (less likely). I'm still trying to figure out why it cuts off in the middle of playing. |
