Purchase Guild Wars Pins

My attempt to get this started in the main pin thread seemed to have failed, and so in order to get more attention to this, I'm reposting in its own thread.

This is not a place to post ideas for new pins, this is for letting the dev's know that we want these pins to be available by other means.

I sent in a request for more info on these wonderful little doodads to find out if there would be any other way to acquire them. I'd like to share it with all you, as that is what they said I should do.

If you have any ideas of what you would like to see for pins or different distribution methods, we encourage you to consider posting your suggestions on one of many of the Guild Wars Fansite message boards. A compiled list can be found on the official Guild Wars web site at http://www.guildwars.com/community/fansites/. By posting on one of these message boards, other players can comment on your ideas, concerns, and suggestions, and Development Team members are able to catch up on what the community wants to see in Guild Wars. Fansite forums make it easy and efficient for us to learn from those playing the game.

As such, I would like to start up a petition to have a way to order/purchase these nifty things by way of the internet, and hopefully we can get these things out and available to all of us who aren't so lucky as to be able to attend E3, comic con, gen con, or any of those other game expos.

If you have any other ideas for how to market them, add those as well.

i want the pins but will also be unable to go to such events to collect, anet listen up and listen good, we want our pins!

Yeah, I'd love to see an online Guild Wars store or something and get some t-shirts and hats as well as some of those pins.

Seconded, thirded, whatever! I would love them to release these pins (even if it is in a limited run) via the Net - I would much rather pay Anet directly than pay massively inflated prices on Ebay, which is what will happen otherwise.
And a GW shop......that would be soooo coool.....

Yeh same.. id love to get myself a hold of these pins .. but im only 17 and live in the UK ..
They don't have any conventions/events in the Uk ..

So yeh i'd like to see these pins being sold in a GW store

Yep, most people cannot attend those events (which I guess is the point, so that they are collectible). But I would love to be able to buy one without buying it over eBay or something like that.

I already got my pin , I printed out the picture got some alluminum foil and taped it to my shirt, gunna wear it to school on tuesday!

yea i would like at least the pin with my fav skill so i completely agree that they should start selling them in stores. its a good way to make more money for servers and any other expenses they might have

I like the idea of a online store. It seems these pins might be a test to see how other guild wars merchandise might do, and if they set up a store online somewhere, then ya, we could finally get some shirts and hats, and little Gwen figureines I really want some larger posters for the wall as well.

the GW website should have a merchandise section. even tho i live in los angeles where the convention is, the convention is private so i have no way of getting the pins. this pin collecting thing brings me back to my good old pokemon days where i spent like $10 every other day hoping to get a stupid holographic charizard :P

omg when i lost my charizard i cryed for like 2 days straight. anyway i'll say it again these pins are awesome and they're a great thing for people that love guild wars and a great way for Anet to make moolah
