Best RA Moments

Edit - Judging by several of the posts below, a screen shot wasnt enough - so I will explain this a little. I decided that, in random arena's, people dont particularly care if they loose a match, as it happens a lot - and if they where good sports, they would apreciate some thing that was obviously intended to be retarded - not even noobs take cap sigs into pvp and use nothing else. Near the end of the match, I explained why I had done it, and one player loved it, the rest it was hard to tell but they didnt complain so I am assuming they at least didnt dislike it. It was roughly at this point I decided to post it on guru, and after telling them so, the player who loved it wanted his name left in the pics - unfortently I dont have a pic of him saying this so to be on the safe side I left his name out - if a mod tells me otherwise I will probably post his name as he wanted.

Ummmm if i were in your group i would of just left as soon as you said that... thats downright cruel.

Wow no wonder random arena is full of idiots, they're encouraged.

Way to be a detriment to your team.

I know it's Random Arenas, but still: try and bring something to the table. If you don't like it, which I'm assuming is why you did something like this, just don't go there.

I'd file this alongside the people who joined IWAY groups just to mess them up. Get a life.

I don't have any RA stories to tell myself, yet, but I've just started my monk, so I'm sure there'll be some soon. ^_^

Well- This is a positive experience, no screenshots though.

It was 3 Monks, Warrior vs Warrior(Me), Mesmer, Ranger, Mesmer

Anyways this is how it went down. One mesmer left my team right off the bat after seeing three monks. The remaining team managed to kill the Warrior miracously, I suppose he got discouraged but either way he left. It was down to 3 monks and my team, we fought and the ranger wound up leaving. At this point the arguing began. I was using a wammo build, and they monks were calling me a noob for it and saying I was too weak to kill. One monk flashed their rank 9 emote, how original. We continued to fight- Each monk had their own arrogant personality. One acted like a pro who knew the best build for every class, One just kept cursing as an insult (Must've been like 12, he kept using Yo'Momma insults), the last was just stupid and said he could easily pwn three monks if he were me. Anyways, the Yo'Momma monk was using Bonetti's with Balthazar's Spirit, and Gaurdian. He was a pain, but somehow me and the mesmer killed him. At this point the other monks instantly shut up, I mocked them saying "So wheres the comeback to that?" they stayed quiet. One got lucky and pulled of a res on the fallen monk, we killed it again. At this point the Yo'Momma monk insisted that were were lucky and he wasn't trying, the other monks joined him in this excuse. We killed him AGAIN- at this point he left. Now it was just the other two, the l33t monk trapped me in a corner while I was running around out of boredom. The mesmer and the other were arguing about 1 vs 1 for some reason, apparently they agreed to 1 vs 1 but the monk kept running back to the l33t monk to be healed. Me and the l33t monk began to get along through the common hate of IWAY. The stupid monk who boasted and bluffed said he was too uber, and a mesmer 1 vs 1 would be too easy for him. The l33t monk then whispered me "I'll stop healing him, lets see how uber he is". Predictably the boasting monk died within; I kid you not 15 seconds. He then began cursing at the l33t but cool monk, saying that he stopped healing (If he was uber why would he need more healing?) At this point the l33t monk complimented us with a "GG" and quit. It was a proud moment, and an hour and a half battle. Personally I sorta regret the hour and a half that could've been spent farming, but sure enough I spared another RA team from the grousome battle that is monks vs team.

ok so it was a team of 2 monks(one of wich was me) and 2 mesmers. we were up against a team of one warrior 2 rangers and an elem. so the mesmers easily dispatched the warrior and elem. but then we were left with the rangers. lo and behold they used the ivex trapper build and being the n00bs that they were they ran around...a lot. for 25 minutes we chased them getting off only a few hits since we were all underpowered against our new really really fast foes. The whole situation was a stalemate because they couldn't do enough damage to counter the two monks and we couldn't hert them enough before they ran away. so at 40 minutes one leaves, unfortunatly at this point the final ranger, obviously an 8 year old demands a 1v1 against each one of us, being absolutely outraged at this point we refused. So the game of haha i'mma gonna poison you fools while you /dance continued till the 50 minute mark at this point the ranger had stopped taunting us with things like, you are all cowards!!!, or you use wimpy proffesions that really don't fight!, or the best, i am just too 1337 for you n00bs. we decided to find out if he was still there. the 3 of us (the second monk had left by this point) walked casually up to him and decimated his health to within an inch of his death. we waited till he returned about 3 minutes later and following the first utterings of WTF!!?!?!?!? WHAT ARE YOU (you can guess what goes here) N00BS DOING....we killed him and giggled like school girls on crack. the match ended after 1 hour.... and i was glad

While I wouldn't have ragequit the fight, I most certainly will not categorize my experience with a Sig-Capping teammate as "Best RA Moments".

one time i ended up on a team of 4 Rangers... we ended up going against a team that had a tank in it... we killed everyone but we couldn't seem to kill the tank... i waited for him to use HB and i got it with Concussion Shot... then we ended up getting his HH {E} since he was Dazed... <-- was the hero for that match :P

Last time I checked dictionary, "best" does not mean "retarded". But in this case I could be wrong.

The things that happen in Guild Wars....grow up.

My best RA moment would probably be the first time I ran a choking gas build. After the fight, one of the casters (whom I'd ravaged), typed "so many interrupts X_X". I lol-ed.

Got in a nice group it was a well matched game, all the other team died but a trapper and all our team died but a mesmer interrupt who brought power spike and couldn't disrupt troll unugent. So no one won, i left but im guessing they just sat their until one of em decided to leave.

My best RA moments happen every single time I roll the R/A prebuild. I dominate everything with that beast.

....W/Mo and he was weilding a staff, asked him what he was doin and he was a get this a fricken boon prot. That pretty much sums it up.

Me:"Hey, is that Frenzy?"

*over 200 dmg*
Me:"Hey is that Frenzy + Healing Sig?"
*Lightning Orb*
*over 300 dmg*

His ashes are still flying around the arena =)

I was in TA, running a Interrupter build. The other team had a Necro, I was interrupting him all the time, he couldnt do anything.
He Ressed, and I did the same thing to him again.
Me(talking to Guildies in team):"The Necro must hate me now"
*General Chat*Necro:"Rangers = lame noobs"
All I did was laugh xD

Well this one time, i get matched up with a monk and 2 other players. One player leaves before it starts, another leaves seeing this. So its just me and this monk and we agreeded to give it a shot. We faced a team of a war-griefer, ele ranger and monk. Some some reason they all targeted me even though i was a warrior. So the monks keeping me alive while i manage to get the monk, turns out he wasnt good and i kept killing him and wasted all of their rez sigs. Then i take down the ranger and ele. So the monk and I are left with one of those uber cant kill warrior griefers. With bonneti's and all that. So for half an hour i keep axeing away at him and i manage to get him to an inch of his life but then he throws bon up again and i cant hit him. Eventually he gets tired and leave. The monk and I end up winning 2 vs 4.

My team : Me, 1 Afk, 1 still loading (still was after we lost), the last one was a g2g

Other team : 4 Iway dudes sprinting at me.

2 Minutes later.

Owned them all with my Crippling Poison flag running build

(However it did take 10 minutes)
