Acolyte's for my Monk most likely.
If the "While Enchanted" bonus works like the "While Casting" bonus of the Mesmer sets then I will be going 3 parts Shepherd's and One part Acolyte.
Which factions armor will your existing characters get?

Legoinarre's for my Warrior. Because who doesn't want to look sort of like a Samurai? Maybe Sentinel too...depends on if they ever increase storage space...otherwise I can't pick up my drops...
Minion Master armor for my Necro...because...he does that Minion thing sometimes...
I'm remaking my Ranger in Factions, but she'll be getting the two armors that don't have the silly turtle shells.

Is it certain that Armor skins will be faction specific? Does that mean 9 possible skins, or just three skins for what ever bonuses you want on them? Or will the skins be like the ones shown in the PvP screen? I really don't like the frilly lacy girly looking Ranger Armor (male) I'm actually a fan of the turtle shell armor (looks). I REALLY hope they fix the Prep bonus armor, cause other wise it sucks.
Another question, slightly off topic. How does the Female Emissary keep her vest closed?

Armor IS faction specific, atleast in the FPE and I doubt they'll change that. You have 3 skins alltogether: Legioinair (Canthan), Sentinel (Kurzick) and Berserker (Luxon). That means that you can get ALL armor stats (Legionair, Dreadnought, Sentinel, Berserker) in the same skin.
For example, Legionair isn't the name of the armor that looks like Samurai armor; it's the name of the "+ armor while attacking" mod. The skin belongs to Cantha, but the mod can be gotten anywhere.
Vilaptca says he wants Legionair for his warrior because he wants to look like a samurai; that's wrong, and correct. He isn't forced to buy Legionairs armor to get that skin. As long as the armor is purchased in the Canthan Capitol, all the armor will have that skin. So Vilaptca can easily go and buy Berserker armor in Cantha, and still get his samurai skin.
The whole system is exactly the same as the one used in the Fissure Of Woe. All armor looks the same, but you can pick the stats you like. That's awesome because we now get to mix and match stats, regardless of looks.
The only catch is that if you have too much Luxon factin, you won't be able to buy Kurzick armor (the one that everyone calls Sentinel) but that's a minor thing.
On-topic: I'll be getting 15k Kurzick (Gladiator or Sentinel, most likely) Leggings, Boots and Helm for my male warrior, but I'll keep his 15k Gladiator Cuirass and his Ringmail Gauntlets.

Legend Of Sinister (W20 Male) : Sure i will get 15k Sentinel, it looks pretty.
Queen Of Sinister (Mo20 Female) : 15k Shephards (Maybe wrong name)
Pride Of Sinister (W17 Female) : It was a post about some versions of armors, but if it is true i want the new Luxon/Kursick version of Gladiator.
God Of Sinister (R20 Female) : The druids look very cool and effective for my build.

I did get the feeling though that certain armors were based off of either Luxon or Kurzick, but I didn't really feel that they would limit that skin to the Luxon or Kurzick sides. I understand the PvP characters are different, and it would be hard to implement something like that into the PvP selection screen, but at the moment, I really believe that we'll be able to buy every skin at each armor crafting city, just like in Prophecies.
Now...15k on the other hand...this is where I think they might implement something like the Kurzick Sentinel armor looking different than the Luxon Sentinel.
I'd also like to state that if this is true, and that Luxons have all those silly armors and Kurzicks have all those nicer looking ones...than there aren't going to be many Luxons....and while I thought I might go Luxon on my second account, if this armor turns out like you are saying it is, than I would NEVER go Luxon, as they have the silliest looking armor in the game.

Indeed, that is the flaw of my theory; we haven't seent he whole thing.
However, this is what we've seen in the FPE, so untill else is revealed, this is how it works. Also, Anet DID say that we'd be getting 3 new armor skins for each profession, which corresponds with what I said about getting Canthan, Kurzick and Luxon skins. Counting the 15k versions of Canthan, Kurzick and Luxon armor, we'll be getting 6 different skins.
But you're right, we can't be sure. It's just what we can expect from what we've seen in the FPE.

I'm not sure if the ranger armor will be global or local but if the mods are global I want scouts and the other one that adds armor. Probably gloves of one and boots of the other because Druids is still the best choice for my ranger. I HATE the warrior armors so nothing there. I haven't seen anything incredibly exciting about the necro armors either. I'll have to see about the assassin stuff since I will be making one of those. Probably infiltrators because it looks sweet in all three skins.
Let's see...
My Ranger(M) will go Luxon for the Scout Armor. I really like the look.
Warrior(F) will most likely be Canthan for Legionnaire. She uses a lot of stances so it's appropriate. And I don't really like the look of the Luxon Berserker, though Kurzick Sentinel is nice.
Monk(F) is going to be remade to be Canthan born. Then she'll get Shepherds armor, which I think is Canthan for the health.
As for newly created Factions characters...
Assassin(M) will be Luxon, though I'll probably mix and match since their armors can be mixed without easily telling the difference. That's why I like their armors.
Elementalist(M) will go Kurzick, it looks like. I think that's the Battlemage one. At least it's better stat-wise than the Prophecies armors...

I know I want Minion Master-stat armor for my female necro, but I'm waiting to see how this skin thing pans out before I make any plans. The MM skin on guildwiki is awesome, but the supposedly 15k version that I saw posted somewhere in these forums looks plain and boring. I want screenshots and straight answers before I buy any of them.
