Stop The Bots

ok here is the idea:

Every one meet in Droks international district 1 tuesday at 5:00 P.M central time and create a wall in front of Talus Chute with our characters. Then all the chinese bots will not be able to get out into talus chute! who watns to come?

For the last time It is impossible to body block in town. They will just motor right through you. For the record a lot of those "bots" are actual people who are paid to farm. Good luck with the picket line though. I'm sure you'll accomplish a whole lot of nothing.

I'd love to, but it's impossible to block people in towns, you run can run through them there.

there is 1 way it just slow them down.
they all fallow the same way/rout, if you can boddy block 1 or 2 guards (is posible done this before) on the same route as the bots you can stop them for goin that way, the problem is keeping the guard on the same place. I have done this and I could easy stop 10-20 bots for a few min but they all go crazy and after a few min they change the rout. this only would help if you can block the guard on the side were they zone back in near the armor trader or walk near the collector, this is very hard to do but sure is fun.

Well, if we all got a bunch of those Snowman Summoners (don't know if you can get through them or not) from back at Xmas, it might do the trick for a while. It would be funny anyway.

From experience there are few true bots in there. I spent some time trying to hook up with bots in groups as I heard som of the bots auto accept invitations. Then I was going to cast some nice enchants to screw with them for a while (although I suppose I coulda stolen the drops!?!) However most accepted had a little chat and took me out for a run around. Tried it in most districts and got all the same results. Like Str0b0 said they aint all bots

If you have nothing better to do, you probably should stop playing GW for now and find a real life. And don't be so biased. If you tired of seeing all those so you called bots running out of Forge, go to TOA and see all ppl standing there saying "hurry up american".

I just hate the racist idea that they're all "Chinese". So...blech.

you know, I'm really getting tired of people doing things like this. I was in droks today because I was trying out some things with my 55 monk, and there were all these people there standing in front of the talus chute exit. At first it's understandable to see people amazed by all the monks, but then they start talking trash and saying, "They're wasting bandwidth. MY bandwith." or "Look at all these bots, Anet should do something about this." along with making fun of there names, or the fact that they don't speak english. It just looks like a big group of bullies or something. "Let's all get together and mess with them! Yea!" While I was doing the same thing they were, it was clear to me that they were just farming. Sure, they follow the same path... which way is quickest to the merchant? Think about it. Oh, and I might find myself running into a few walls too when I'm tired, doesn't mean I'm a bot.

I thought it was weird at first too, don't get me wrong, but this kind of thing is just silly anymore.

Yea im with you Dead Phlox i hate this racism too. Can't you just not go in the international Districts or just leave them alone and ignore them? Instead of calling them Chinese Bots why dont you jsut call them bots...then you wont make yourself look racist. I am chinese and sick of all the racism i get in school and i dont need any when i jsut want to have some fun playing guild wars.

If you have nothing better to do it's time to move on to another game or wait for factions release and shelf GW for now .

Second, not all bots are Chinese. (Second and a half, Chinese is capitalized. )
...and third... why bother? It's not worth the effort. Okay, so they screw up the economy. You can more effectively counter that by going out and playing, not just trying to fix what's not your responsibility.

Don't take this the wrong way, please.

All I'm saying is that it's not worth the effort. Botting is not your responsibility, and there's really nothing you can do to rectify it other than not be a part of the problem. ANet bans bots just as well as it can, and I've no doubt they concoct better formulae every day. So just ride it out for a bit, relax, maybe focus on PVP, eh?

Want to stop farming bots? Try to convince everyone to not buy golds at Ebay.

Want bots to disappear? Me too. Am I going to stop bots? No. Why? Because its an impossible task. Does starting thread after thread about them help? No. Can I keep on going like this? Actually, no I can't.
