April Fools!

Aprils Fool!

So this is how they are really going to compensate for no monthly fees. If you logged in recently, you probably noticed that the fountain at LA has apparently been privatized



I guess this makes the same sense as banner ads at web sites, but some of those seem, uh, anticlimatic. As long as pop ups don't jump at you during heated PvP it's bearable though, I guess.

Hopefully this doesn't mean ANet has given up on releasing x-packs regularly. Any thoughts?

• Miner
• Trader
• Farmer

In Merchant Halls, players will be able to give their items to certain NPCs along with a sum of donation in gold. These NPCs will then spam the trade and local chat channels with WTS messages in lieu of the player, allowing them to freely go farming and then return later and receive the payment for their sold items. The duration for which the merchant NPCs spam the customized message will be directly proportional to the amount the player has donated.
