npc for Gaile Gray & frog

Just a thought: it would be cool to have an LA npc that has a little story about gaile gray and the frog. :-) I know I was like "what the--" when I suddenly saw a green (now purple) chat pop up even though my chat was turned off. I had heard of Gaile, though, so I quickly caught on.

Why...what is 'the' point?

so new players will know who gaile is, and where and what the frog does... u never know they might even make a story up about the frog

Have quest or even a Mission for them!

^^ That sounds something that'd make it worth it to me.

We need a quest to help The Frog set up his accommodation in Cantha, and another to help Gaile find the mushroom of magical multi-coloured text-dyeing.

somewhat a rip from Divine Divinity.... but have a FROG QUEST!

" In you exploration, you come across a talking frog NPC, who ask you to help him kill some bugs so he can have some dinner. Go around killing some bug boss mobs, such as "Infinate Loop" or "Bad Pathfinding" or "Breaking Mesh".. and bring back their corpus so the Frog can have his dinner."

and if you get stuck in walls the frog calls you a n00b!

Id prefer a frog elite skill=Hop to cantha

And a gaile skill=Multicolored spectrum

If people don't know the devs.. shame on them, but in anycase there is no need for an NPC for that. But I think a sign near the frog explaining why it's there would be fun.

A sign would be cool. :-) There is no "need" for an npc to speak of Gaile and the frog. It would just be cool. I've been in guildwars since the prophecies beta. While there have been some really neat experiences meeting new people and asking questions... there have also been some not-so-pleasant ones. Just stand in town next time Gaile talks... I guarentee you that someone will ask, "Who is Gaile Gray?" They will be answered by about 5 ppl saying, "she's a rep for GW." and about 4 ppl saying, "Stupid noob!" lol *sigh*

I come from an almost strictly PvE perspective (and guild) and we enjoy little things like this that add to the story and explain things you may wonder about and want to discover "in character" and "in game."
