Start new character now or wait for Factions?

If you would like to make a new character, would you make it now with the current styles and looks or wait till Factions come so you get the new Asian style and different looks?

I made one now. Proves I'm oldschool. And hardcore

I guess this is a choice for the individual player. In my case I like the new Male face models from factions, but I prefer the original female face models from prophecies.

What I want to do is make a temp ele on my second account to unlock ele skills.
But the thing is I have 4 PvE (including the Ritualist from the FPE).
Now I really want to keep it to see how it will be reset to level one.
That means I have to delete one of the mules and move all the items on it to another toon in my first account.
Which is really a hassle since I use different characters depends on what are we doing in the guild and friends.
So I really have no idea what to do.

As for the faces:
My Ritualist would start in Cantha, just to see how things would start there.
But My assassin (if I make one) will start in Tyria

Good questions, you can go through C2 then go over to C1 and get the skills / armor you want or the other way around.

I'm waiting. Honestly I don't much care to make any new characters. I've got a Wammo, my Ranger/Mes and an SS necro. I've still got one slot open that I have absolutely nothing to do with until factions hits. I plan on making a Warrior/Assassin, an Assassin/warrior and a Ritualist/Necro. I like the new faces and hair for Factions so I'll definately hold out.

I would wait because I alrdy have 3 tyria characters and not gonna start one which i will probably only play with for 1 month till factions is available.
So i will save 1 space for a pvp character and will prob make 2 pve characters again in cantha and will back/fort travel all the time

Even if I had an open slot, I would wait it out. I want to see some of the new faces. :]

I would wait for Factions to make my Mesmer, but I already did

Not having a go but I don’t understand the whole fuss about faces? When I play the game I don’t see faces I only see the back of my Cape or the backside of the character, why you want to see faces and why is so important? Are you guys playing a game or doing some sort of Miss Universal contest type of thing?

Do you play with 1st person view? cos I always zoom all the way up.

Both actually but I think the ritualist is going to win the swimsuit/lingerie contest. Monk is a sure thing for Miss Congeniality too. Once the new Miss Cantha is crowned she'll go on a whirlwind tour, entertaining the hard fighting warriors of the Luxon camps.

I'm personally waiting, but that's because I haven't finished Prophecies yet. I've got my N/Me and my M/R in Tyria to keep me plenty busy until Factions is out.

Wait. You'll get more choices that way. No point in starting now, just to see another style you like once Factions comes out, and regretting it. Heck I'm gonna reroll my monk just to get a better hairstyle.

It seemed like during the FPE I could chose both 'styles' but I ended up in a state I couldnt chose a propechy face for chp2 - hopefully that wont be the case on release
