Exhaustion is a self-inflicted condition that reduces your total mana pool by ten each time you get it. The max mana goes up 1 point every three seconds until you are back to normal, exhaustion can not be cured by any condition removal crap, and there isn't even any icon for it. There is also a definition on this site.

Personally I think Elemental Attunement is the most useful Elite skill I have. It allows you to get back 50% of all energy spent on ANY element. I rarely run out of energy and with FIRE maxed, I do a whole lot of damage.

(Please note that I play PvE exclusively.)

Glyph of energy is a very handy ele elite it makes the next spell you cast cost TWENTY less energy and prevents that spell causeing exhaustion. Though not an elite spell mark of rodgrot is another very handy spell for a fire ele. Its hex that makes the target catch fire for 3 seconds every time it takes fire damage for 30 seconds.

I like Ether Renewal on my Fire Ele. I'm stuck at Thunderhead Keep right now, so haven't gotten far enough to get some of the others, but Ether Renewal refills my energy as needed and is a decent emergency heal combined with Aura of Restoration. Will probably try Mind Burn or Elemental Attunement when I get that far.

Ether Renewal isn't a fire spell though. Its based on Energy Storage, and gives you health and energy every time you cast a spell for 10 seconds, based on how many enchantments you have on you. Got it from Issah Sshay in the Thirsty River mission.

If you have Me as a subjob, make sure you have Arcane Echo
Nothing like 2x mind burn or 2x meteor shower or 2x fire storms

Mind Burn is great but it's that or Elemental Attunement a lot.

Mark of Rodgart I only started using on the last 3 mission but found it very effective.

Mark of Rodgart -> Arcane Echo - Meteor Shower -> Meteor Shower -> Fire Rain-> Phoenix. All the while I had elemental attument and aura of restoration running.

I'm thinking of switching my secondary to mesmer to try out echo.

since were talking abotu fire i assume this is about PvE for pve no elite is better than gyphy of energy combine that with arcane echo and youll have plenty of energy to drop 2 MS a firestorm and metor on enemeis while having tons of energy left over
